this was a great ride, and i'm glad to have experienced it, but gosh, the ending was odd to me. i really think that the show suffered plot/pacing-wise from apparently being changed due to fan opinions. i wish we'd gotten to see its original form. and boeing should have shown up a while ago for his role to make more sense.

oh, never mind. apparently i'm not allowed to feel any sympathy for a depressed, suicidal addict because he lashed out and did bad things on the bad people show. i'll go now...
as this series is coming to a close, i have to say, ray is one of the most fantastic characters i've seen in a long time. flirty and sweet and annoying in the best way possible, hiding a deep self-loathing and loneliness that i can understand so profoundly. trapped in a cycle of hurt and addiction, until he's finally guided out of the dark by the lovely sand (who's going through his own set of struggles), though he stumbles and falls deeper before finding the end of the tunnel. above all, it's clear that ray wants to be good, and that in itself is so heartbreakingly human that i can hardly take it. i have to give it to khaotung. and to first, too, for bringing such depth to sand's character. this pair has really given this show their all and i thank them for that. (mark pakin is also slept on. give him more roles!)
god i was not expecting to be as invested in this as i am. can't believe i am liking boston now. also khaotung thanawat you are a treasure and i don't think i can handle seeing ray sad anymore <3 crossing my fingers for some solid sand/boeing(/top?) flashbacks this week
