Thanks for letting me know! I broke down on Bad Buddy at ep 5, which was kind of perfect b/c that was the turning point of their relationship. And honestly imo the forst couple of eps for BB them and the side characters were super immature with their childish fighting every other scene. glad that didnt continue the whole way through the series! For this how i may end up with a spoiler b/c ever Sunday i keep coming back here to read thr comments lol

No, but the ending left it open for one, so if thr ratings are good enough they will. Like they have with so many other Asian dramas on the platform.

I forgot to mention something that annoyed me was how under utilized the zomebie/human girl was. Like ppl were sacrificing themselves for things she could have done with no consequences. Or how the 'boyfriend' would put himself between her and danger. Like girls going to be fine. Or when hed say stuff like, 'bite me next time not yourself'. Like wft, so stupid!

Me too. I liked his character, except for his reaction to his mom. Like was he trying to get everyone killed yelling, 'mom' over and over again at the top of his lungs?

They sure left that teaser at the end for nothing if they don't have S2 expectations.

Both groups made stupid decision imo but it did get better. I think it was a little long, could have been 8eps especially since they set it up for a season 2. Which doesn't surprise me Netflix is like that 🙄

Was it necessary to make soooo many unlikable characters??? Some of them there is no redeeming them, though I'm sure the writers will try. unsuccessfully for me, all it will do is about the hell or if me, like we should feel bad for sexual assaulters and murderers? Half way through and I'm seeing glimpses of them trying.

And i hate to say this, but even some of the victims are unlikable, like get your priorities straight ppl!!

I read that as 'an unlikable monster ruined it for me' at first. I was like, 'seriously?!' 🙄 Haha

I am hating how Netflix is doing that, totally ruining formula of the one and done that kdramas are known for! But this series is modeled more like a web drama than a featured TV show. and quiet a few web dramas have multiple shorter seasons, like love playlist. And like them this has a clear resolute ending, no cliff hangers.

They were totally putting out vibes that he liked her. Maybe their attempted at a no chance second male lead? Haha

thank you!!! i was losing faith reading some of these comments. ppl talking about how amazing this film was. like did we watch the same thing?? Like wth did the ML think was going to happen when she provoked the killer??? it ruined the whole movie for me that she did something so stupid as to even let the killer know she knew she had killed these ppl and then a step further to antagonize her by yelling at her and repeatedly hanging up on her. like you said they wrote her so incredibly dumb it was too unrealistic. I watched the rest just to see if it redeemed itself, but nope, waste of time. so glad this was just a movie and not a series so it was only 2 hours wasted and not more.

so frustrating!! why the ML girl didn't have the forethought not to piss off the past ML and let her know she knew what she was up to. like serious WTH!!! what did she think was going to happen??? duh so stupid!

like why didn't they use their back tentacles, or whatever you want to call them, when they were fighting? They used them constantly in the first one, which of course they would, it's a great weapon to have in any fight! But here, like wtf? when the ML was on that table he just sits there, what happened to all that training???? Don't even get me started on the ending fight scene, eye roll!! lol

but still, they left it open for a 3 movie there at the end. I guess it's not going to happen? It's going on 3 years so probably not :( As annoying as the fight scenes were it was still good and would have been nice to have a third one, especially if Mackenyu was set up to be one of the main characters!!

i know you wrote this comment 8 months ago so you may not even remember the movie that well, although for me the movies story, characters and actors made the movie very memorable even though it has been a long time to since i last watched the movie.

anyways, to me it seemed the older was, in a way, being played by the idol, who was the true method actor. The older PSW character is known for being a method actor, it's referenced several times in the movie, but the idol actor took it way too far. he was portraying his character not just in the play but in real life. What the idol did to the actor and his wife was in correlation to what his character does in the play. I think that is the reason for the title, 'Method'. It was never really about love or caring on the idols part, but him being his character.
