Yes, the other main characters in this drama are likable and funny so I don’t understand why she is so badly written. She is a police detective how can she just go around hitting people -mostly the ML- and no one bats an eye? Isn’t she supposed to protect and serve?
This physical abuse towards the ML really bothers me. It’s not funny! Which I think that was the intention on the writers part. If the roles were reversed people would be boycotting and cancelling this drama online.

I agree 100%. If they wanted a longer drama by extending the plot or not solving the case right away they could've looked for a smart ways to do so that is not so frustrating.
I would enjoy this drama so much if the FL didn't exist. Not hating on the actress but her character is so infuriating, I have to pause the episodes every ten minutes because I get so frustrated by her antics. I really don't want her and the ML to be an item, aside from the fact that they have no chemistry whatsoever, I just can't stand her.
They always mention how good, strong and smart she is, but she is just stubborn and petty. I swear if she would just accept that she can be wrong about certain things and listened to the ML and what he knows, the drama would be half way done by now.

Jayden Lee was the best thing that came out of this drama. His presence was magnetizing, his charisma, his confidence, his smile, his clothes, everything about this character was on point. He was the center of attention in every scene he was in. Shing Sung Rok definitely stole the show with his performance.
When this drama was first announced and there were no tags or info on what it was going to be about the title gave romcom vibes, maybe because of the cast or because the announced title was "Why Oh Soo Jae". But, then the poster came out, I read the synopsis and realized that this dama is probably going to break my heart. :')
I'm still looking forward to it though. It'll be nice to see Hwang In Yeop finally going to college after being in high school since "18 Again" (2020).

Wow! They are beautiful and very detailed. I'll definitely check the Crowned Clown out. I've seen many comments saying how both shows have similar vives, and I'm really enjoying this one!
I have not seen a lot of Saeguks but of the few I have seen, the costumes in this dramas are the best, they are beautiful! They are very detailed with embroidery and seem to have been made with quality materials. They really seem like clothes that royals would wear. I simply love it, even for the winter clothes you can see the padding! It really adds a lot for me, some dramas like "Secret Royal Inspector and Joy" had horrible costumes for the court officials and it was distracting. I know that some shows have bigger budgets than other and they can't afford better costumes, but when they do it just makes everything way better.
Yoo Hye Young is so annoying it's not even funny. Every time she is on a scene she ruins it for me, I really hope that she gets a good character development throughout the drama cause I just can't stand her! Why is she so opportunistic and greedy? She treats everyone around her poorly, specially her husband- who is just a doormat for her to walk all over- , she's jealous of her sister in law and takes every chance she gets to talk smack about her... UGH. I just want to slap some shame into her!!!
