This one is a psychological romance drama with a lot going on in the subtext, that, that isn't spoken. I find that there are very many arcs, symbols and words that that have deep meanings. Sometimes the choice of one word or a phrase that has double meaning can fill a whole scene. For example, when Miantang tells Xingzhou that something she hands him is from "home", it signals that she has has succeeded in winning her back--In Chinese she is referring to "our home" both physical and in the heart. It's fun to find these details.

The "foreplay" they have on their wedding night is one of the sweetest, most endearing, and best emotional payoff scenes I've ever seen on television. The way she smiles at him with total happiness and love is really something.

What about typical romcom shows? 3 as well?

And yet new clips show her laughing, relaxed and looking fantastic. I think she's getting stronger. Amazing actually.

Some of the candid videos of Churan coming out now show her radiant, happy, relaxed, being playful, laughing between takes. I guess my prayers worked ☺

Of course I appreciate their hard work. The show will be a success.

That's a bit ironic, because her next project starting in October is currently titled "Gambit of Embers"

She had a strong reason to do what she did. It's not a simple story.

Disaster for whom? They are being paid to do it that way, for "sexiness".

This is an exploitation film for violence, abuse, trauma and sexualizing women.

Oh God. The violence being used against her even acted is giving me trauma. The latest...Oooof. It's so unhealthy. Breaks my heart.

I've been watching the behind-the-scenes clips coming out of the filming of "Overdo," and notice a couple of things: Churan and Linghe are genuinely very comfortable and caring with each other, and it's lovely to see. They also have some serious variety of talent going on. A few days ago, clips showed Churan filming a scene that showcased her Peking Opera training - full costume and makeup, the real deal. Yesterday, footage came out showing Linghe leading her in remarkable tango scenes. Honestly, she's radiating so much genuine joy and warmth it's very heartwarming. There are some heavy scenes in it, though, that I don't care for her or me to go through, There seems to be someone allowed to stalk them and shoot phone video of literally everything and anything they do between scenes everywhere and anywhere at any time, and one can see it can get stressful for her sometimes to lookup and see a phone videoing every move she makes about anything.
