Seems like several.of her projects are being shelved i wonder why so manyToo bad she is a good actressShe was…
The wait isn't great, but what makes you say they are shelved? Have you seen confirmations? I see that Hidden Shadow is taking forever to air, but they still have and are continuing to accept a whole lot of reservations. How Dare You is probably still in post production.
This scene was filmed weeks before the Opera scene, so im not sure, but it could be.
Thank you. Shows often shoot scenes way out of order regardless of the relationship between them. Also these clips are not uploaded and shown in order either, Looking forward to learning about what the message(s) of the opera performance is communicating to the other characters and the audience.
If I understand you correctly, you might want to consider watching from episode 27 forward. The show basically has three phases: Deception, Reconciliation, Collaboration. They start to cross paths after breakup starting at the end of episode 23, but their journey to him earning her forgiveness and trust doesn't take off until episode 27 when he comes to her town on royal business. The reconciliation is more straightforward, comedic, and interesting...if you're interested in the psychology of what they go through and why. They joyfully get legally married at the end of Episode 31 after his epic confession to and defense of her from her grandfather. And then they're off to royal family and palace intrigues. Their traditional wedding in Episode 36 is beautiful and very heartwarming.
I love your comments. It's a very special show with a special actress. Regarding "filler", you might want to know that sometimes a show can seem to have filler, ironically, because it has many scenes cut from episodes that originally made them much more interesting. It's unfortunate that this show had 25% of it (10 hours) cut out after it was finished because of a new government law that says shows can't have more than 40 episodes. It originally had 53. I know that a lot of important stuff had to be cut from most episodes to make them fit. I'd pay to see the cuts, would answer a lot of questions, fill a lot of gaps and dangling references.
did you read the synopsis ?The drama version is only borrowing the names from the novel ,the synopsis has no similarities…
THANK YOU for the information I missed. I'm relieved it's not as bad! I'm relatively new to the Asian Drama world, need to find more info sites/sources for better info, like the leaks, spoilers, synopsis you mention. After being blown away by and studying her performances in "Story of Willow"/"Are You The One?", I've been looking for clues/speculations about the many scenes apparently cut from the show. I'm also trying to follow her projects that aren't airing yet or seem shelved. Don't know how typical that is in the cdrama industry. I just know she's a profoundly talented actress I need to see more of.
I am TERRIFIED and crushed to learn that Churan is doing the "The Second" with Zhang Linghi. The story is sadistic physical and mental abuse porn, soul snuff. It's based on a novel "If We Were Strangers" by the "Queen of Sadism". The whole show resolves around her being totally abused and destroyed as a human being. It virtually guarantees some level of harm to her health, career and happiness longterm, because acting severe trauma intensely for months creates trauma as if real abuse. I just saw her INCREDIBLE luminescent work in "Are You The One", and I fell in love with her portrayal and craft. Her style of connecting her soul to characters is extremely dangerous for acted trauma, because it deeply embeds it. Churan's extraordinary emotional intelligence and empathy increases the damage of such trauma roles, The mythic rationale for "expanding acting range" is ultimately BS due to personal, brand, and casting damage. I'm truly heartbroken she's going down this path, and I sincerely pray I'm mistaken in this case. Frankly, regardless of whose idea it was, the role itself is abuse of an actor and human being. I've read they made some script changes to tone down some of the violence, but given the scale and depth of the inhuman depravity of her character, that's not saying much. For example, she still has the baby inside her killed by him by causing her miscarriage,
