most dramas have obnoxious ML but if Female gets such character she instantly gets most hate. Watching 1st episode…
I agree with you on that she gets better but not enough in my books. I felt there was a glimpse of how the guy could have been better and the ML was good imo up until the end of 1st episode but from then on I just. Also I wouldn't have hated the FL as much as this one if she was at least pretty because I could then say yeah this woman has terrible personality because she has a pretty face and she's spoiled.
After watching the first episode I thought to myself "Wow this guy stood up for himself after being humiliated in front of his mom and looks like it won't be another one of those typical kdramas" but after finishing 4 episodes, I got it totally wrong. The main guy is just a simp and seems like a pathetic loser at times. The female lead is obnoxious in every way like looks, behavior, mentality name it. But it pretty much says above in the plot summary so I kind of expected this I guess. The guy gets an oppurtunity to throw out this girl out of the law firm he works in but he gets emotional like "oh poor girl got humiliated by another law firm's director" or "she cried in front of me because she is going to get kicked out", like come on now. Male lead has no self-respect at all, other than the first episode of course. After his humiliation the guy becomes a lawyer after 3 years of "hard work" apparently he becomes a lawyer then while he is entering his the work place building some girls are shown gossiping about how handsome of lawyer he is, even though the only things had changed was his clothes and bit of hairstyle literally. Then comes the POS fl entering in his office and he is like "miss so come seat please" while offering his chair like a long lost dog found his owner he was waiting for and I was thinking "some hard work eyy". Seriously man! The guy just doesn't have any self-respect and acts like a wimp. Also the guy doesn't act like a lawyer at all, he is more like a consultant or a therapist at best. The writer seem to force a "romantic relationship" on these two characters because to me romance doesn't quite fit in this story at least between these two. If it's that ML and his friend, it seems resonable. The side characters were a lot better than the main ones, I enjoyed watching them at a decent level. This is the sort of main characters I saw in a lot of anime as well hence I don't watch them a lot nowadays. This drama had potential to be a very good one in my opinion but looks like the writer had other ideas. Maybe the writer is a firm believer of "THE MESSAGE", that could be why I saw some indirect referrence to it? Anyways, I'm going to watch it till the 7th episode after which I'll drop it. I know people will disagree with me on this which is fine. Everyone entitled to their opinion.
