Nothing makes sense in the first episode LOL. Events are just happening for the heck of it but plot wise everything…
its intentionally not suppose to make sense because it is a time line drama. It involves parallel worlds / reincarnation / living different lives / different time lines / memory loss. It only makes sense if you try to figure out how it all works.

WARNING: reveals spoilers of unexpected plot twists in S1 and info of S2. This is for people who are confused . Please watch season 1 before reading.

I will try to make this make sense as much as I can

SEASON 1 RECAP LAST EPISODES
In the end of season 1 we find out that the couple have had 2 different lives in season 1. In their past lives in season 1 - find out towards end of the eps. That the couple use to be gods. The god / spirit Qu Tan'er committed a crime and therefore was banished and reincarnated in the modern world. This explains why there is a different Qu Tan'er in the ancient mortal realm because they still have to be reincarnated. Mo Lian Cheng was a best friend of the former Emperor (In the ancient mortal realm) who also turned out to be a God. The god / spirit Mo Lian Cheng was murdered by his lover Qu Tan'er at age 25. The former emperor saved his best friends spirit and reincarnated it into one of his descendants. Therefore Mo Lian Cheng could only live till the age of 25 in the mortal ancient realm.

In the last episodes Mo Lian Cheng had a battle with the Demon King. The couple ended up being seperated. As explained in SEASON 2 epsisode 1. The demon king caused an explosion which caused the gravitational energy in the world to constantly change. When the levels of gravitational energy changes it forms black holes which will lead to a parallel world / time line.

In the start of S2 (only 2 eps have come out) Mo Lian Cheng gets dragged into a Black Hole and is transported to the modern world in a time line where Qu Xiao Tan (Modern Qu Tan'er) hasn't even traveled back in time and met Mo Lian Cheng yet. (the start of season 1)

THIS IS ALL I KNOW SO FAR. The reason why it gets confusing is because parallel worlds / time travel / reincarnation can be very confusing as so far the couple have already had multiple lives.

It starts in the modern world. The reason why its a bit confusing as explained on the first ep is because there are different parallel worlds that they kept getting sucked into. It makes more sense if you have watched the first season. Basically they keep going into different time lines and different worlds which is why there memories are messed up.

I was confused about the season 2 part. I was watching this dramas on Viki and Viki has both season combined together with a total of 32 eps. Season 2 pretty much aired just after season 1 ended so I wouldn't really consider it to be a 2nd season.

who was he in eternal love ??
I think it's funny that so many actors that are well known today that were in eternal love had minor roles and I don't recognize them

It is her.. just different outfit and makeup. She is beautiful ????????????????
I think she is naturally beautiful especially in All Out of Love but she tends to be overlooked because she doesn't really fit China's beauty standards of a beauty. I don't care about beauty standards at all but when I first saw her I was like wow she's pretty. (and doesn't look fake)

Drama Fever was brought by Warner Bros in 2016 maybe Warner Bros just couldn't handle the licensing. The reason why Drama Fever had so many Korean dramas is because they mainly worked with the 3 major TV networks and even helped co-produce some of their dramas. (The Heirs, Naeil's Cantabile) . I think Warner Bros couldn't handle it. Drama Fever was doing well as over 8 million people were using there site.

It’s a sad ending but it was worth watching for the refreshing twist on the classic story. Though, there are…
when did it stop airing and why was their conflict with religion that made it stop airing and will it be airing again or will they just cut it ?? I haven't watched it yet.

I'd suggest "Bloody Romance", by all means. Great cinematography, captivating storyline, well chosen and passionately…
Bloody Romance is so good I'd say it's on the same level as the big hits this year yet so underrated.
