This is just a Su Rongqing focused drama and the viewers should pity him until the end. The main leads are only here for the romance and angst. Other than that they should look clueless all the time and only Su Rongqing is smart. Maybe we will get a different ending and plot from the drama on the last parts. The production team is getting more obvious on how they favor a character. They shouldn't have adapated this novel into a drama if they want to experiment on the villian character. They should've just made a drama based of Su Rongqing. As a novel reader of The Grand Princess, I am clearly disappointed.
