😆...Thanks for the reply. I've watched a lot of kdramas, but never really felt inclined to post a lot of comments until this show.
I always feel that everyone's posts are much better than what I can say. But, I enjoyed reading the comments here so much that I decided to participate.
I have to read my stuff like 5 times before I post because I'm terrible with grammar!
Who do you mean by "that bunch of losers", the brothers? All of them?
I wonder if Kang Su didn't say anything because he thinks he doesnt have a right to anymore (even though BS told him nothing would change in his family relationship).
I've been thinking about the posts concerning the Chairman using his money and influence to help Kwang Suk and the Eagle brothers. - Some say that he shouldn't have done it at all. - Some say he should have waited to do it after the brothers knew they were dating. - Some think the brothers should be grateful for the help.
I can see everyone's pov...I was initially uncomfortable by his actions to get close to the brothers. It smacked of insincerity and manipulation, i.e. when Chun Su overheard the chairman's phone call with Kwang Suk.
Because I was bothered by this behavior by a character that I liked, I started to think about it and I've decided it comes down to intention for me. If I believe the Chairman is a decent person, then his intention in helping Kwang Suk, the brewery and the brothers is honest and heartfelt.
He loves her.
Because he loves her, he wants to make her happy and to make things easier for her and her family. Because of who he is, his methods of help and how he goes about it seem over the top. But again, that is just who he is. He's used to being responsible and taking care of things.
Does he need to try to see things from others perspective and not always ride roughshod over others? Absolutely.
Will his actions cause misunderstandings? Possibly.
Is he coming from a good place? I believe 💯 that he is.
I could be way off base...maybe I'm trying to justify his behavior because I'm pro Chairman.
Anyway, this is my story and I'm sticking to it!!😅
I wondered about that as well. Was she holding out hope that her teacher would still have a chance?
Or maybe she does know or suspect about his relationship with Kwang Suk (how, I don't know) and she thinks their relationship will prevent her from having a relationship with Gang Su?
on the other hand I would end the show here.... give them back the brewery, let them fail in life like they were…
I'm wondering if Chun Su's ex thinks that KwangSuk will give the brewery back out of guilt (unfounded imho) and the brothers won't/can't run it and that is how she can get it sold to get the money. If that is why she told the brothers, then she's pretty devious. A terrible human, just like SeRi's dad.
Also, KwangSuk's Mom invested in the brewery also. KwangSuk may at least want to get that money back.
watch ep 7 preview, it will become Garbage, where ML is treated like a villian...
Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant the FL and other man/woman who work at the restaurant. They would feel betrayed. I've only watched up to episode 6...don't know what happens in 7.
I loved the show and I loved his character as well. Give it a shot!

I hope to tag along on the next drama that airs.
I agree with you regarding the angst and tears...
But, since Beom Su did speak up, then my guess is probably incorrect.
Bad writing then?

Feel free to disagree!

It's a great show imo.
But, I bet Mi Sun might prevent this if she tells Chun Su what she overhears.
Also, KwangSuk's Mom invested in the brewery also. KwangSuk may at least want to get that money back.
