This is the comment I was thinking of making here for quite some time. I really agree with everything you have…
Yup, same here, I too can write about dramas for hours lol!

I don't dislike the original but there were some slip ups there in the writing itself, as you have mentioned. If they really wanted to show some development between the leads they could have done it even with the absence of any sweet scenes if they made the FL at least acknowledge and maybe like a few of the good things the ML tried to do for her. That would have at least created a base for what was to come later. But most of the time she was just blissfully unaware or the ML would just say something horrible and hurt her. Like you said, they focused so much on the hate and competition that they forgot to build on the most important part. It could have been a lot better if they focused on that more.

Title Tricky in Love Spoiler
So, the female lead here has a very different dynamic with Anon compared to the originalThe original focused so…
This is the comment I was thinking of making here for quite some time. I really agree with everything you have highlighted so far. The relationship between Anon and Anda actually has a lot of development right from the beginning, as opposed to the original Techit and Khaohom where there is almost none. And it is so natural and well-written, flows so well and fits right in with the story.

A lot of MAJOR red flags have been eliminated here, just highlighting a few of the differences below:

In the original, Techit was an overwhelmingly negative person due to his father's abuse and constant comparison with Nawa. Due to that he wouldn't be caught dead doing anything good for Nawa ever. For Techit, everything was just jealousy and competition when it came to Nawa. This is also a narrative that was used multiple times where Nawa would say that Techit was just trying to win over him by making Khaohom his fiancee. In this version though Anon protects and even comforts Pheem as much as he can and does not harbour any hate for him even though he is compared to him all the time and abused by his father. He genuinely cares for him and his father Poom. He also does not agree with his father's ways of working, something that cannot be said for Techit who would be too happy if he were able to win over Nawa in the given situation. Also Techit had a negative outlook in general which contributed to his mean personality (kind of an anti-hero), but Anon is not exactly like that - he does carry a lot of suppressed trauma but he is not overly negative. He may not be able to use sweet words but he spits facts every time!

Techit fell extremely hard for Khaohom, and was desperate to keep her by his side, but he did so by blackmailing and manipulating her to become his fiancee in exchange for the orphanage. He threatened to sleep with her, and kissed her forcefully without her consent. He acted like he owned her, and treated her like his possession rather than a person. For this particular point though, I guess there has been somewhat of a character switch in this version where Pheem is the person acting super possessive of Anda like he owns her or something, when they are not even dating. Anon on the other hand respects her and is sensitive to her feelings, and is always trying to take care of her, a little like Nawa from the original. I completely agree with the point made about Pheem treating Anon badly, when he has been loyal and supportive from the beginning.

There are more differences in the storyline but I feel like my comment is becoming a thesis lol!
All in all, I would really like everyone to check this lakorn out because it is like a breath of fresh air and completely unlike the original. They have done a really good job with modifying the story, and the characters as well, so I hope everyone gives it a try!
