No where did I say this drama was bad I gave it a 7.9 and said it has a slightly worse plot than other similar mythical creature dramas which is MY OPINION. I am not hating nor judging anyone who found this drama amazing. “who will have different point of view” exactly, I made a personal comment on what I THOUGHT should be the rating. She replied saying she thought it deserved 8.8. I replied asking what other dramas she watched. End of story. If anything you guys are criticising me for having my OWN OPINION

I agree to a certain point but when a drama is a direct copy/similar to another drama but with slightly worse plot and pacing you can't help but compare the two. I was comparing dramas with the typical "cursed immortal meets girl who has ties with him due to their past and is the only one who can break him from the curse" trope. In my opinion, the comparison was valid

Really? I wonder how many kdramas have you watched. Coming from someone who has watched Goblin, Korean Odyssey, Bride of Habaek, Tale of the nine-tailed, Doom at your Service, Hotel Del Luna etc this is no where close to an 8.8 fantasy drama

The new Netflix zombie drama All of Us Are Dead is also really good. Highschool + Zombies = Banger

at ep 14 - Honestly this ain't that bad but 8.4???? This drama feels like a 7.9 you get me? Hard to explain but it just radiates 7.9 for some reason.

Yes Vagabond's cliff hanger made everyone mad but that shows that everyone was invested in the drama. All of NGM dramas are really good even Chief Kim and Hot Stove League. Taxi Driver has a rating of 8.8 which is rare so you know its good

If you like intense shows with good plot like the Veil and Awaken I would recommend Vagabond, Taxi Driver and Memorist

hmmm after that there are probably only a few minor twists. That is probably the biggest one of the entire kdrama by a hugeeee margin

But if her acting was "that bad" how was she casted in the first place. She is a rookie actress, obviously the writers and director knew she will not be a seasoned veteran actress with top tier skills so they must have had her audition or at least let her read out a few lines. Directors don't just simply cast actress who are bad especially if they are rookies

yeah but I guess having /10 makes it more specific. Also some people love giving unnecessarily low ratings to a drama when they haven't even watched it

Rom-coms I would recommend Love in the Moonlight, Scarlett Heart, Rookie Historian. For more serious political + romance I would recommend the Crowned Clown and Emperor Owner of the Mask. There are some "fantasy" ones like Mr Queen and Live up to your name. All of them are good but I would suggest reading the plot summary and choosing what you think is interesting.

I watched a few episodes and it felt kinda meh.....You have the typical evil person in power and his family clan, the distorted hot tempered king, the toxic obsessive 2nd lead but the plot in general is quite unique. However, the biggest turn off are the main leads "character" itself. If you're bored give it a shot but if you're looking for a good historical or romance drama I would recommend something else
