The Mingye/Sangjiu arc is so boring. I took a 9-month break after episode 13 before continuing with episode 14. Lol

I don't have a problem with the plot, but the comedic writing was a complete disaster. The constant, never-ending background music made it even worse. It felt like a high school project where every second is filled with random background tracks for no reason. There isn't a single moment of silence in the series, as every second is filled with background music.

Why are the majority of the characters in this drama not smart?

They keep putting funny background music over unfunny scenes and it's just too much. Comedy should feel natural, not forced. What’s so hilarious about a simple eating scene that it needs comedic music? Nothing. I think it’s just a weak attempt to cover up poor writing.

I'm at ep 3 but found it had an excessive bgm to try making every scene looks funny? Did the series hired an interns and asked them to fill every scenes with random bgm or something. It is very distracting and cheapen the series. Half way through this episode and I'm already thinking of dropping this series.

I'm on ep 23, but personally ep 20-23 were so hard to watch simply due to FL and her daddy issues. Urgh, so annoying and move on already. Can't wait for this stage to end. Probably my least favourite stage. The game was not challenging at all and it just a setup to address her daddy issues. If it was for only one episode, sure no problem but it stretched out for way too long. We have seen how intelligent FL was but suddenly she become so dumb and easily believe whatever lies the game present to her regarding her father? Make it makes sense please.

It would've been better if the first episode had a linear timeline rather than jumping around past and present time over and over again. Personally im losing some interest to continue watching due to this reason alone.

So S2 happened because of miscommunication or lack of it? What a lazy writing.

This is an example when you try to make a BL series just to ride on BL waves and hope to earn some profits. Characters had no depth, and why everyone looks the same. At least try to change their hairstyle or something.

As a slow watcher, I'm currently at 1/3 of the drama but I can say that she didn't bring anything to the table so you can just skip her part. While she love being a busybody and inserting herself into the investigation, she just there as an eyeshore and annoyance to the MC and us. Lol

They should release an edited version of this drama without that annoying brat. Were they that afraid this drama will be banned due to censorship so it was the reason why they wrote such a horrible FL and not taking the bromance route?

Ep.1 and I already dislike the FL. Her personality tho, so cliche so annoying. Instead of making her the FL, they should just make case of the week series and let this woman die after 10 mins of ep.1. Watching this with 2x speed won't do any help either.

Episode 3 right now and I already can't stand Gu Xiang. Miscast? Probably. This type of character doesn't suit her "mature" face.

They talk talk talk too much just to extend the airtime (and save budget). I don't think they talk this much in the manga. It's so infuriating.

Ep.13 literally makes me want to drop this series. Writers need to be more creative. *sigh*

It's been 8 years since kiss the series and mek jirakit still bad at acting.

Most of the characters are annoying. They trying too hard to make every scene funny instead of making the jokes comes naturally.

Saw the clip from TT, so i'll give it a try when the sub is out.

Fatty Wong or Annoying Wong? I don't read the book but my god, he's just so suffocating. What comic relief? He's not even funny at all.
