Well I've been referring to broadcast ratings and trends on Weibo. Not the reviews. Let's be honest- sometimes even abysmal dramas end up doing well if the cast is right.

Back to TBARP- I am loving it too. If it retains its quality, it will become one of my personal top dramas of C-dramaland.

If you do a research, you will see Tiffany and Li Yi Feng's dramas are ranking quite high. Also I forgot about Mayang Street and Begin Again. Both are quite high ranking dramas as well. There is a bit of competition at the moment.

Random thought but but the eyebrows of the FL and SML really bother me. They are so both beautiful people but why are their eyebrows not groomed whereas all other actors' have? Lol.

I think it's because other stronger dramas premiered. The ones starring Tiffany Tang and Li Yi Feng. They are bigger stars and have more interesting drama themes from a Chinese common person perspective (nationalist, historical, etc.) whereas this is more of an idol drama category.

1st ep was kind of slow. Can someone tell me if it gets better later on?

Damn ep 8 was so annoying as heck. Fang Ning is being selfish AF.

Ep 10 was SO good. It's one of the better episodes so far. I was losing interest but that twist got me so interested. Hope it doesn't let me down as only 6 more eps are left.

I'm loving this. The OTP interactions are cute and the female character is funny. Have to say- Simon can't act AT ALL. He's just pretty with a hot bod.

I recommend Queen Seon Deok and Empress Ki over any other historical dramas.

Try Go Go Squid. The couple have amazing chemistry and there are nice romantic moments.

Have been hearing great things about Seven and Timmy. I'm surprised that haven't put out the official subs yet. Isn't the production company aware of the popularity Seven got this year with Go Ahead internationally? Sucks they don't realize the potential of reaching out to the international fans.

Fu Heng won't remain the main character after the midway point. I think maybe this kind of genre isn't your cup of tea. It's the first time I watched something like this but likely won't watch another drama on these lines.

Heard some great things about that. However the story will seem completely opposite as it focuses on the love of the Emperor for some other concubine. It won't be Ying Luo. This is what I heard btw.

Will be watching this. The booting ceremony happened today. It's really happening. Yay :D
