I got back from a vacation to a new MDL, which is absolutely amazing. I love many of the new features, and the layout of the site is more user-friendly too. When sites change their layouts typically I hate it initially, but that's not the case with this change. Thank you MDL!
This is a bit of a lame reason, but I think one of the reasons I don't watch Japanese dramas freqeuently is that the drama names tend to be in Japanese whilst Korean / HK / China / Taiwanese dramas are often popularised with an English title. For some reason, when scrolling through mydramalist to pick a new drama to watch, my mind tends to just gloss over the Japanese titles and I usually end up picking something from Korea or Hong Kong.
