Hopefully we continue to see that. There are a lot of xianxia or est dramas coming up so we can see if this line of directing and writing continues. I just saw a lot of white haired leads in upcoming trailers hahah

The first arc is about his time as a mortal and he was a sickly mortal. But please enjoy the arc.. it will make more sense when the drama progresses but it is through this arc that he gets to know the female lead and also starts to like her.

Its amazing how they decided to remake her into such an adorable character instead of the usual trope of the second lead trying to hurt the relationship of the CP couple :) And such a modern take on it so much that we can identify with it.

I am just rewatching TLOSL but I am also waiting for Reborn for love (looks interesting) and I watched the Queen of tears but eh its a typical kdrama.. the leads were good and the story was ok but it didnt grab me like TLOSL (hahha) I think there are a few big production xian xia coming out right? Is it May or July (Lost You Forever 2? - I am not waiting for it but I know its popular)

What does ZLY have to do with this. Please stop bringing her in weird comparisons. You can choose to dislike an actress then just do not watch their stuff. No need to compare with others.

Let's not do comparisons. We can choose to support our fav in their dramas but comparing them with others in their dramas only incite fanwars :) Good that you are watching the drama.

Yes I think He Yu will go far. He is just enough good looks and acting skills. LGX well.. he can act for sure, now its whether he gets good scripts and good co stars :)

Its all good we enjoy it. I am sure we will all find something else to discuss in time but this will be a special one for most of us. :)

Yes they both can act. Actually I think all the actors/actresses did very well in this drama...soo good scripts and directors as well as producers probably do a lot for a drama. Considering that the novel was fairly straight forward and short compared to some others.

Oh i have to agree that Love and redemption was decent. But I liked this one too.. Maybe as an "older" audience :) But its fine.. everyone has their preferences.
