Agree with one of the reviews here, they are good people who met during their most challenging times. I liked both the official ending(?) - real life ending and the show's ending.
At first, I thought this would be nothing like the first season. The house in Seoul was too big compared to the one they had in S1 which is why they had a hard time bonding. The dynamic changed when they left for Jeju - their bond as couples and as a group deepened even with the misunderstandings. jealousy and fights.
I was hoping Nayeon to choose better, she deserved someone who makes her shine but given the benefit of the doubt, there might have been evil edits as well.
Haeeun, you deserve everything good in your life!
Best pairing for me: Tae I + Na Eon (Tae I really falls fast for those who tease him endlessly) Hae Eun + Hyung Gyu (soft hearted couple)
I really loved all the girls' mindset after finishing the show. They've showcased dealing with their first loves and girlhood really well.
Top faves from the girls: ~ Jisu, who know what she wants, her likes and dislikes but also being considerate and open to compromise. ~ Yido, who was able to stand back up after two heartbreaks. ~ Mihong, who always listen to the others and provide support even though she's also hurting.
Top faves from the guys: ~ Jaehyun, whom I related too much. His growth from being a socially awkward robot to a silly, fun person whose was open to others' opinion made him my top one. ~ Hyunkyu, who was so complex. There were times he was immature (handling criticisms and issues raised by others) but most times, he was mature in handling his own relationship. He truly gave his all for Jisu. ~ Seungri, he was actually the most normal one amongst the guys. He was just competitive and indifferent to some of the serious concerns raised by Jisu but I think he balances her well. He was also one who faithfully chose Jisu from the start. ~ (Special mention for Sangho for shamelesy being true to himself).
Happy for the final couple who I rooted for: Jisu x Seungri. Seungri just needs more work since Jisu was able to communicate her needs and wants clearly. I was glad they were able to take a jab at each other in that finale. (*˘︶˘*).。*♡
Ep 10 was so packed. It feels so rushed. I don't get why people are hating on Jiho, he's always been the savior in the trio. It's in his character to try and save Gyeon-U. Pretty sure a lot of scenes was cut-out prior to this. Bongsu mirrored the curse without knowing the Mother's protection spell to YH, so he always wasn't really at fault. It's all YH's fault in the end (summoning the GR and hurting everyone).
I love how beautifully it ended for Dr. Lee. It was gruesome but in the same way, it was her final attempt in connecting with her mother. It's so poetic how she wanted to feel the same way her mother felt until the end. I love these types of antagonists. They're driven by both love and hate. They're so human! I fully support how Ina protected her.
Love the fact that Ina still wears the color red, it shows her dark side. The possibility of doing the same things that Dr. Lee did, they're are really meant to be friends.
Side note: I can't get over the fact that Hansaem almost died... one more step and splat!!!
This new season aimed to pull our heartstrings. Most episodes were emotional and showcased the different aspects of the zombie apocalypse (humamity dealing with their losses and striving to survive). Some of the newer casts were a bit dull and had to be carried by the NPCs for the plotline and airtime. Commending Sungjae, Eunbi and CoKun for being the best of the new bloods. OG casts carried this season. Hopefully, S3 won't be as chaotic as this one. No need for new faces just to bring more fans. PD Team should look for people who can bring a lot to the team instead of just being an eye candies or class clowns.
This had a great potential, a different execution of the revenge plot could've made it better. I can't help feeling disappointed with the film especially when they had THE Dolly and THE Kathryn participating but still ended up with a camp, mediocre film.
I didn't really like the ending. It was a great plot with a huge potential. It could've been a psychological thriller, it could've dwelled into Mae's mental health rather than closing it with the all so cliche "self-love" ending.
Soo Bin and Dong Il grieving in the final moments of this film really left me sobbing. 10/10, initially wanted to score it an 9 but after that true-to-life clip, instant perfect score for such heroism exhibited by the first officer.
but my Juwon x Yu Jung heart :(
