So I am through 13 and the 2ML is the worst. IMO the ML didn't do anything to him in the first place he is just too narcissistic to realize. All these years later of course your girlfriend still thinks of him when you bring him up in EVERY conversation. All the gas-lighting and abuse he does to the 2FL and gas-light attempts to the FL, telling ML he is going to get with FL just because he realizes ML likes her... the WTF, has to be one of the worst characters I've seen

I agree most dramas are like that at least in a way. I know this is only 2 examples but My Roommate is a Gumiho the 2FL was cool af and the 2ML was douchey. Love in Contract the 2ML was borderline stalkerish and the 2FL after realizing she missed her chance was pretty chill. They are out there and becoming more normal, but really, I don't see a need for either 2nd lead to be a pain. I'm sick of love triangles in general and K-Drama writers seem to always use a "one of the 2nd leads is a piece of shit" approach

I thought the opposite. Liked 1 and 2 more than 3 and 4 and now about to drop after 5 and halfway through 6

I think to me the story is just kinda too jumbled up and can't keep my attention very well. I hate FFing shows and also rewind any missed dialog in case I miss something important and Ep 5 literally took me 3 hours to watch because I kept pausing it to do something else when I got bored and realized I missed a lot of dialogue. The pacing isn't terrible and there are some interesting parts. I can see how people like this show I just don't think its my style. To me, the leads relationship so far is kinda meh, they have funny bickering occasionally and Rowoon does good being over the top in love while being very annoyed by that fact it just isn't a show I personally could recommend

I'm through 5 so far and I'm torn. it's not bad but to me kind of boring and I'm leaning towards dropping it

this show really has 2 moms competing to be the the worst mom lol. I still can't decide which one is worse

yeah I think the story his brother told the cops is actually what happened (minus the asking her out part,probably asked her to leave do ha alone). He told his brother what happened entirely so the story could be as true as possible to the cops. 2ML just figured it out because the brother forgot what happened to her clothes

because he is in love with do ha. I think he assumed do ha would go back to her again and again so he was removing the competition

The mom is ridiculous. A perfect representation of someone who has never done anything except spend money all their life and just for that reason thinks they are better than and know more than everyone else. I'm on episode 28 and can't believe in the amount of time that has elapsed in the show she STILL hasn't gotten even a slight reality check. By far one of the most frustrating characters I've seen in any show let alone K-Dramas

I'm the complete opposite. I really liked the first 2 episodes but the whole Rowoon being under a spell thing is a little too over the top for me. I'm going to keep watching because it isn't bad to me so far but it definitely won't win any 2023 awards unless a lot changes in the remaining 12 episodes

i saw multiple posts about 2fl amd how they hated her. I am almost 10 episodes in and she is chill as hell so far. I honestly can't see how the writers can make her so hated and a redemption arc (judging by comments) in the time remaining. She is super supportive of ML and FL so far and already with 2ML. No spoilers requested but at this point is there something I missed that everyone is eeeing?

No worries lol. I was just worried I missed something with the coach. And the dad argument you have is completely fair, K-dramas are known to do things like that. I even personally thought Kang Hoon's dad was the guy that broke Jo Won's hand in the office until the later scene and got another look at him. And also, The fact that subtitles gave the "the rats have escaped" guy a name threw me so thanks for that tidbit, I completely missed who he was

When was the PE coach? I must have completely missed that part. And yeah, I feel like Kang Hoon's dad is going to come into play to negate the spy from the north with the same power and they are separate characters. Every other "present" and "past" character has been the same actor so just this one being different doesn't make sense in my eyes.

Agree to a point. How HeeSoo survived (other than regeneration) is ambiguous at best. It showed her sitting on the road staring at her mom strapped in the car. And the way she was sitting on the road doesn't really seem like she was strapped in in the car IMO. It was a good scene don't get me wrong (there's very few faults I can find in this drama) but that scene doesn't really say how HeeSoo survived especially with her being in the hospital in the latest episode

It definitely was a car crash, There was a flashback of Hee Soo remembering the wreck and the car went up in flames. Earlier episode maybe ep 4 or 5?

Honestly, I get both perspectives. This drama is getting a lot of hate in the comments for whatever reason and I think lonelyflower was just sick of it and lumped you into them because your post was slightly negative. Hope you enjoy the show and hope it grows on you to where you are anxiously awaiting the next episode!

Everyone has their own opinion on shows. I personally really like MLL and can't wait until it comes out on Monday every week. But there are other shows that I enjoy enough to watch but I am also not anxiously waiting for the next episode. I could be wrong but I believe that is what waver17 is trying to convey here. Saying they like it but not in love with it and will watch when they can. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that perspective

I didn't dig that far into them personally because they aren't worth my time but it makes sense that they are one of those types of people. However, I thought KTL was a good drama and recommended it to a lot of people IRL. I just don't understand continuously watching a show you hate. Like anyone can do what they like, but do you not value your own time? My personal philosophy always puts my own time above anything else.
