I think it's pretty common for shows to get lower ratings when the episodes air back to back on the same day like this one. The more casual viewers that can't devote 2 1/2-3 hours of their time straight in front of a tv due to life may opt to just not watch at all, or wait and catch it on OTTs

I agree, but I'm also torn. Pure was honest when Air asked if she was seeing someone, just didn't mention who. None of the 3 knew who Pure was going to pick until she finally did and when Air gave Pure her blessing/closure, it still wasn't official that she was with Loft. Then Loft going radio silent makes them not actually together and I would have to guess that Pure hasn't been at Loft's place for more than a day or 2, where they both already decided to tell Air together. It seems fair to me that they wouldn't tell Air until they were official since it was entirely unknown if they would actually wind up that way, and they did decide to prioritize telling Air.

It just sucks because Air saw the painting before they could tell her directly.

Also, kudos to the artist that does Pure's paintings, they are honestly amazing works imo

It's free to watch on YouTube, and actually supports the artists. There's no point watching it on a third party site if it's already free. Give the girls the credits and ratings they deserve.

They said in the reaction video that everything after the "PureAir" line was improv from Neko and Pundao and it didn't seem like it at all to me. I definitely ship ShellyPundao, but the chemistry between all 3 of the girls is honestly amazing, and their acting doesn't feel like they (Shelly and Pundao) are new to the industry

This show is so f'ing good, and extremely well produced. Some of the bigger named companies in the GL space should take notes on how to produce shows. This small company made a show that feels so much more professionally done and polished than a lot of their shows wind up being

I'm guessing LJW is Lee Jang Wook, ML of Beyond the Bar. However, it was like 10 years ago, he was found innocent and then on appeal she was found guilty of false accusations. For some reason, there's a lot of people that still think he's guilty.

As far as KSH, I don't know anything recent about it, and I'm holding off my judgement of him until I hear more official news. Right now it's just he said/they said.

Prem stripped due to being drunk, they kissed, more Pat kissed Prem she was pretty out of it but not fully asleep yet. The hickey was on her boob, but it was above her bra line and on the top flesh of her boob. She didn't blackmail Prem at all about that, but it's still possible that can happen in ep 2 or something, I can only say it hasn't happened yet

Gonna sound weird, but I would say kind of? I haven't read the novel, but heard it was way worse in it than the show had. Pat gave her a hickey on her chest while she was sleeping, but stopped there.

I don't know what blackmail happened in the novel, but if it was about Pat and Preem, then no that hasn't happened. She did come to her wedding to ruin it, with proof of Preem's fiance cheating

I'm honestly indifferent to the "messed up teens meet again as messed up adults" thing. I don't personally care one way or another, I just think a ridiculously high percentage of KDramas feel the need to add it in when it wouldn't detract from the story without it. Almost to the point where they're saying as an industry that you can't love someone you met as an adult.

As far as My Youth, it's very much necessary, and well done with the high school age leads. I really enjoyed their backstory episode and hope to see more of it because the 2 actors had great chemistry and were cute together. I don't know what the point of adding the grade school one though, like you said they didn't need that to show Hae's difficulties during that time, they had many other ways they could have shown that if the felt the need to. Even having a scene where he just lashes out at Tae Rin or something after she reaches out to him after him being fired from the show they were on.

Also the fact that they had a past connection in high school, then randomly decided to also add another past connection to their grade school days. That was extremely unnecessary imo. The childhood trope is overplayed in general, yet they added 2 to the same couple

I might have missed that director part lol. But yeah, you would definitely think the books would be revived then. I mean think about the show Castle. It became so popular that actual authors wrote Castles books under the pen name of Richard Castle. He was so popular of an author in the show that people started actively seeking out the books IRL and the company provided them

I didn't even think about the inheritance laws. That does add another, actually legal, reason to the issue. Even in places where laws like that don't exist though I can easily see people taking it out on Hae since it was his name being used for the scam and he's the only available target. I meant dumb as in people actually thinking a 13 year old had any part in the scam happening. If anything, he might know but the actual scammer would have obviously obfuscated it where he didn't know it was a scam and it was pretty obvious after the fact that he didn't benefit from it in any way

I just thought of something that doesn't make sense. If Hae's novels were popular enough to merit a 3 movie deal, and the movies were popular enough to make them scramble to save the contract for the final movie, why are his novels out of print after the first printing?
