I like how even though it's obvious LJS and MKY are the leads, all the main role characters actually have a main role. So many shows will have the friend group labelled as main roles, but they are way closer to being a support role in actuality.
Actually Heath Ledger's Joker line fits this perfectly now that I think about it...
"Oh, you. You just couldn't let me go, could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You truly are incorruptible, aren't you? You won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness. And I won't kill you because you're just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever."
Not sure what ep you're on but later on they reveal why he was really fired
I wrote that during the scene they introduced the mean girl. Glad to know there was actually a reason though, lol. Because that really doesn't make sense when they already mentioned that it was understaffed
Jong-Hyeon’s eye injury and Ha-Na’s hearing issues magically ceased to exist?
Jong Hyeon's eye injury I think was already completely healed at the start of the drama, he just had PTSD from it, and had/has a strong aversion to sharp things. I don't think it just went away magically, throughout the show it was shown he was less and less afraid of knives, kind of like immersion therapy.
Han Na's hearing thing was kind of weird. They introduced it, then never really did anything with it. It ended with her just telling Dong Ju she finished her medicine treatment
Finished it. imo eps 1-4 were fun to watch, Eps 5-12 were just frustrating overall with no actual progress to the story, then from 13 until the end it redeemed itself a bit since they actually progressed the story. I'll give it a 7 overall, but if they made this an 8 or 10 episode drama instead of 16 and removed a lot of the pointless 1 step forward 2 steps back in every aspect of the plot, it would easily have been a 9+ show.
Really, most dramas in this genre are usually only 8-10 eps. I don't know why they decided to double the run time for it
I would say the punch-drunk works just like that it comes and goes but the frequency is based on how much damage…
It could have been a few days, sure, but the damage to his face was weeks worth of swelling and discoloration. He wasn't avoiding Han Na that long. Even Jae Hong said it was a couple days ago when Jeong Hyeon took him to the hospital, and Dong Ju was around Han Na for a couple scenes before that scene
I would say the punch-drunk works just like that it comes and goes but the frequency is based on how much damage…
I think they meant more the fact that he went to the hospital with a swollen cheek, 2 black eyes and scrapes all over his face, was only in the hospital for like a day and was blemish free when he left. Punch Drunk does come and go though, kind of like migraines. You never know when an episode is going to hit, but when it does it does with a vengeance.
Yes, Reina did in fact get married to him, however, for Reina to fully become Misa's substitute, there has to…
I agree that I don't think Misa would act like that, but there could be a 4th party. Tomoya never wanted to marry Reina, even more so than Min Hwan and Su Min. He could easily be getting something on the side already, and it doesn't even have to be a named character.
There's also the fact that they showed Reina going to the warehouse or whatever it is and met back up with the old lazy boss. That didn't happen in the KDrama IIRC, and Reina has 0 shame. I could see it being a gender swap on the cheating and she starts sleeping with or "dating" him trying to get something out of it and Tomoyo catches her in that.
I'm confused, they fired mean girls bf to make room for Khem on the team, yet May who was showing her around said they are the least staffed team? If they are understaffed, they aren't going to fire someone for a nepo hire. It seems to me that there's actually a reason the dude got fired, or that was just a really bad plot hole
I knew nothing about this show, read the synopsis and decided to try it. Like 30 seconds in, I realized I didn't understand the synopsis at all, lol. I thought it was going to be her chasing Khem to get her inheritance, not a contract marriage, 1 sided love type show where the original proposer was actually the "cold" one. 10 minutes into the first ep and I'm liking it though
There actually IS a reason Reina hates her. It just hasn't been shown yet, and that's IF they are following the…
The lady that Reina's dad ran off with is Misa's mother. She hates Misa because her mother took away her father, who was the only remotely close to caring parent. Reina's mom you saw, Misa's dad loved her with his whole heart like you saw and Reina couldn't stand the fact that even though they both lost a parent due to the same affair, Misa still had a loving home while she didn't.
She also obviously has mental issues. She wants to be the only thing Misa can rely on, while behind her back making her life as bad as possible. She has a need to make sure Misa is never happy, and the only way to do that is to be her sister-like friend.
Reina and Tomoya are so scary and annoying characters. They never admit their own fault and always blame Misa.…
There actually IS a reason Reina hates her. It just hasn't been shown yet, and that's IF they are following the same story as the KDrama and webtoon for it. If you want to know, I'll have another post spoilered on here.
Whenever something like this happens, it's meant to keep "Support Role" off their credits. A "Guest…
I'm with you honestly. When I think of guest role, it's someone that's there, and not constant even in those episodes, for like 3 episodes max. Any more than that, and you aren't a "guest," you're part of the cast
just started the ep and I genuinely struggle to even feel bad for dongju at this point because he's so dumb and…
His bullheadedness is honestly a liability to his own life and the entire team atp. I get the feeling of need to see it through to the end, but there's a point where you need to take a step back and let your team handle it. That point was honestly in like ep 6...

Really perfectly fits Dong Ju and Ju Yeong
