How’s this one same Korean amazing or it’s better than Korean ?
I absolutely love both versions, but for different reasons. I would probably give the edge to this one though, but not by much. As long as it stays as good, this will be a 9.5 from me just like the KDrama, but if there were more fine adjustments, I would rate this one 9.6 or 9.7 (I NEVER give anything a 10 FWIW)
This one is more fast paced and to the point of the revenge story, and the romance is definitely romancing, but at least through 8 the romance is more taking a backseat to her revenge arc.
The same thing happened in the KDrama. Like, the same character got the cheating husband and the cancer. I think…
Jinwon never got promoted in the KDrama. Nothing ever happened to the useless boss since nobosy called him out and made it public. Joo ran quit because of strss etc yes, but ji won just got her position as #2 on the team
My Happy Marriage - the live action Japanese film with Ren Maguro and Mio Imada. It's on youtube.I have rewatched…
Absolutely this. The movie was SOOO GOOD. There is 0 skinship in it, I don't think they ever even have a peck on the cheek, but their romance chemistry was top notch
It's a minor gripe & probably nitpicky, but to me it feels like in the original they at least made a minor…
Neither Min Young or Fuka could ever really be considered "average" imo. They were both gorgeous pre and post makeover. It's their lack of self-esteem and timidity that made them boring wife material.
I also think they were about the same pre-makeover. They both dressed specifically to not impress, had timid demeanors and flat unassuming hair styles.
the substitute rule is giving plot device vibes, especially, what do you mean misa's colleague friend has to get…
The same thing happened in the KDrama. Like, the same character got the cheating husband and the cancer. I think her husband would have been cheating regardless, but maybe not caught like he was after the fate transference. The reason I think she gets the fate is because she is the closest thing to a 1:1 transfer of fate. The timid, overworked, stressed colleague with a cheating spouse is the exact same character type as life 1 Misa. Nothing Misa did directly pushed it onto Sumiyoshi, the fate just had to go somewhere and she already had stress to the point of having gastritis so it was a natural fit for her to get it.
At least in the KDrama, yes she gets the cancer, but it's discovered WAY before the Misa character discovered hers. Like, Ji Won assumed it was stress related gastritis until she was already terminal. Ji Won convinced Joo Ran(Sumiyoshi) to get checked early since she noticed she grabbed her fate, which also happened in this version. So if they keep to the same storyline, she has cancer, but is in like stage 1 and easily able to get into remission or cured. She's early enough into it where being terminal isn't even being discussed medically, only by Misa because of her guilt.
Maewnam is way too nice of a person. Telling Wan she needs to calm down and trying to act like it's no big deal that F1 stole from her. It's only the 3rd episode, she's only been there for a couple weeks and he's already stolen from her 3 f'ing times, twice she has proof of. Wan was already being polite about it and attempting to keep it away from his mom, but there's literally a point where you can't be the nice person anymore.
Also Tonnam is way more patient than I could ever be. Chom should be dumped. Her behavior is ridiculous. Yeah, she can't make it public because she's scared to come out to her mom, but it's been 3 years and her friends are just finding out? She makes her wait every single time they are supposed to meet up? She gaslights it into a Tonnam issue so Tonnam will drop it and just say everything's fine? Chom just treats her as a plaything imo, not a girlfriend by any means. Chom deserves to be single for life, or at least until she realizes that she's the problem and fixes herself for her next relationship, and it definitely shouldn't be with Tonnam, she deserves someone better
In the korean version, we saw the substitutes for the misfortunes faced by the FL and ML:1. Death of the ML in…
It could be Tomoya kills Reina by pushing her off, then later dies in a car wreck. There really aren't any other villains in the show like the KDrama had. Even Misa's mom and Reina's dad don't seem evil. Horrible parents, yes. Money greedy evil asshole, no.
It's mistitled on the official OTT. MDL always uses the official titles and posters etc, so even though everyone knows it's supposed to be Her Trajectory, it will stay Her Trajecting until Tencent changes it
Easily top 3 OSTs for me, I'm actually mad it's not on Spotify, at least yet
I looked and couldn't find it. I tried Marry My Husband, Marry My Husband Japanese, and Watashi no Otto Kekkon Shite and it didn't come up lol. How did you find it? Do you remember what you searched?
agreed! I believe he made his abrupt, almost out of character decision the moment Misa said she needed to end…
It's like he said in ep 5? maybe 6. He absolutely refuses to let her die again. I think his plan at that moment was to make her think they were nothing so she doesn't blame her happiness for Sumiyoshi's illness
I guess this is the part which he finds a surgeon for her friend with cancer.
The Chinese versions according to MDL are super short, like vertical drama short, so my assumption is they are going to be super dramatized and very loosely follow the script. Probably will have 20 minute scenes of the Reina/Su Min character publicly talking down on and abusing the Misa/Ji Won character until the Suzuki/Ji Hyuk character steps in and puts her in her place lol
I mean, it's pretty obvious the way she told him the effects can't be evaded, only moved onto another person -…
He kind of called it off in the SK version as well, thinking that his death was unavoidable. In that one, he planned it a lot longer though and made sure that she was set for life (Made her a billionaire without telling her.) At least in the KDrama, it was VERY short lived and he didn't "pawn" her off to the chef, but the chef and Hui Yeon (Miku's character) were already a thing at that point.
My money is on him not going to her hometown, but to find the best, most famous doctor for stomach cancer to treat the Section Chief so Misa no longer feels she needs to sacrifice herself for her friend.
"I can't believe Misa didn't tell me about your debt"
You literally ruined every single good aspect of her life on purpose, made sure she was basically shunned everywhere, trash talked her behind her back every chance you got, slept with her fiancee in the hotel room she paid for, then got "pregnant" and married her fiancee out from under her. Why the fuck do you think she owes you any type of explanation on anything?!?
And yes, I know the affair to marriage part was by Misa's design, it doesn't change the fact that she did it willingly. It's not like Misa drugged them to make it happen like a vertical CDrama
Miku cracking her knuckles and shaking out her fists while walking to the apartment to meet up with Section Chiefs cheating husband cracked me up. I love her character so much. In both versions, she is my favorite
I doubt that's the reason. I believe they are required to do their time before they turn 30, so he probably already completed that a while back, and I think I remember seeing something about him completing his time around COVID, or maybe shortly thereafter? IIRC, he did his time before he filmed Big Mouth
The first thing that I will say was definitely better done in the KDrama is Hui Yeon/Miku's romance arc. I felt it was very unpolished in the KDrama, but at least they had scenes together. At the end of 7 in this one, they met but didn't really have any camera time at the grape harvest, sat together openly spying on Misa and Suzuki at his restaurant, then were shopping for groceries together? It feels like they are just adding that romance to follow the webtoon, but decided to put 0 effort into it and only focus on the main story
she said "thank you for taking my trash that i threw away" it doesnt subtitle in the moment but u can…
got ya. I assumed that's what she said since it's like THE line of the story, but I just finished 7 and haven't gotten to start 8 yet. Thanks for the confirmation though!
Did she mouth the "Thanks for taking my trash" line to Reina? There weren't subs since she didn't actually speak, but I'm guessing that's what she said to her? If so, that's a much more badass way of doing it than in private like Ji Won did imho. It was subtle enough to not make her the bad guy, but also blatant and public enough for anyone at the wedding that cared to watch
I just love this drama so much and I love Wataru but he better have good reason for the ending 😒Still this…
I didn't read the webtoon or the novel, but they were very different from what I've heard and read. This adaptation is following the webtoon and the KDrama followed the novel, so it could very well be true to the source material, FWIW
