If YiMing was his previous annoying self still, I still wouldn't agree with it but it could make sense in a way. The amazing part to me is KSR's family is being VERY nice about the whole thing, and it seems they only produce evidence to refute him, which by chance just makes him look worse for lying and the evidence is actually more damning each time. If he would just tell the truth, it seems like they would stop, like full stop. Also, the fact that they only want an admission and an apology. It's not like they are trying to get money out of him, and it really looks like they were trying to do this with the least impact to HIS life, but he is causing the downward spiral.
