perhaps this drama is proof of my obsession of the attachments made from the past. i both dislike and understand the fact that they had always placed a clear line between xingyue and baishou. i sobbed so hard until my heart ached when jingyuan parted from the body of fanyue,, saying "there is no more xingyue in this world, there's no need for me to be here" i get it they are of the same mantle but they have different memories and experience. but BRUH, CANT THEY JUST COEXIST 😭 can't the past couple BE the current them, so that they, also find happiness? maybe it's the drama building the 60000 yr ago arc so much that made me think the characters from there would be more involved in the ending. ultimately, I'm happy the main couple stayed alive until the end...
