chu zhao novel is so interesting and such a fun character, he's morally grey but he was not evil. so much unnecessary drama for sml. they could've used those screentimes for longer HE, like show their child!!! anyways i love how he yan and xiao jue understand each other and they communicate well, i love them sm 🥹

although i fucking hate what they did in episode 35, i understand the emperor. would you like two strong and smart generals marry each other and have chances to usurped you? i wouldn't. he yan reclaimed her title as general feihong and got to command the fuyue army while xiao jue got the xiao army again. it made sense that the emperor wouldn't let them marry each other bcs they both command the strongest armies. I STILL FUCKING HATE YOU CHU ZHAO! FOR EVERYTHING. WHY DO YOU HAVE SO MANY SCREENTIMES WHEN THEY COULD HAVE SPENT IT IN THE BATTLE! UGH I STILL LOVE THE ENDING 😭 I WON'T BE ABLE TO MOVE ON FOR A WHILE (LONG TIME). 🥲

they could give a whole episode of screentime for chu zhao yet they can't give a whole episode of he yan's past life and suffering, or they could've shown us her bond with her master, how he saved her and trained her. smh
