Title Bad Buddy Spoiler
I know y'all are sad about the breakup and all but WHAT IF IT WAS ALL JUST A BIG FAT LIE??? They're doing this to traumatize their parents back (lol i know i'm crazy). And the scene in the preview where Pran tells his friends that the breakup happened was just him pranking them. It's also when he informs them about their schemes and tells them to go along with it. The reunion's just them reminiscing the past and how long they've come.. I bet one of them would pop the question (AHHH I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN FR)

That's all. Don't take this seriously haha. This is just my way of coping. Just trying to see a different light from all that's happened last night and I am putting all of my trust to the whole BBS team. I know the ending's going to be amazing no matter what happens 💝

Thank you for saying what's in my heart in the most perfect way. I just find it funny how people will dwell on…
Well, thank you also for reading this long post. 😂 Agree. If you consider Songhwa's personality, how she's always been the calm, collected one in the group and how she's also not easily shaken up by a lot of things, she definitely needed as crucial as a near-death experience of a loved one (like her mom's disease) to knock some senses on her. So, it makes perfect sense to use that trope.

I hope those people see what were seeing and not just settle on what preconceived ideas.

I'm so impressed by how people like you can write their thoughts so well on paper. You said it so well. Yes, it…
Wow! Thank you so much for this. I just wanted the viewers who were against the ER trope to look at it on a different perspective. I also want to applaud the whole team for doing it so effortlessly. It could've been done both ways but they truly did not disappoint here.

I see a lot of people not liking how they used the convenient accident trope and yes I agree, sometimes it's a played out device in kdramas but somehow it makes sense putting it in their storyline. Ever since Songhwa's "Oh moment" during the hand holding incident, she is gradually coming to terms with the idea of falling in love with her best friend all over again. Bit by bit, she's recognizing that the love and affection she had for Ikjun which she initially thought has faded but in actuality, it has resurfaced.. and maybe it didn't really completely go away. It was buried along with the pain and heartache he has caused her heart years ago but it has always been there.

Songhwa is happy with Ikjun's company and is taking her sweet precious time mustering up the courage to admit her feelings for him, hence she needed just a little tiny force to finally put an act on it. Ikjun on the other hand is clearly contented with what they have. He respects her and the boundaries they've built between them. The last push Songhwa needed was the accident, though this scene might come out too contrived for us spectators, I feel like their story required something as catalysmic as this so that the much- delayed shift of the trajectory of their narrative could now transpire.

Both of them are so complacent about their "More than friends, less than lovers" status. But Songhwa now has the ball in her hands and Ikjun placed the full authority on her to take charge and change course of their relationship. She probably thought about how tomorrow is not promised and so she realized that she cannot afford to lose him again without even trying. The accident prompted her to get moving and once and for all sort out whatever it is that's been going on between the two of them. If the attack did not take place, there's also this very slim chance of them settling on the "We like each other, but let's not put a label onto this" thing.

It's a bold move from writer Lee. It's a tired plot device and I understand the varying opinions from people but I believe that they used it wisely. It's reasonable and justified.

I think Songhwa realized long ago that she loved Ikjun, but she was afraid of being hurt the same way she got…
I guess after the accident, she realized that tomorrow is never promised. It's now or never. Or else, it might actually take them another 20 years just to be together. But yeah, I also think that it was too cliché but it actually makes sense if you think about it.. 😊
