he's also quite emotional and a little distraught when hes talking about his friend so im again assuming that they may have broken things off or just that teh is regretting his choice in not taking a chance with oh-aew. but hopefully the ending wouldnt be too upsetting .

i'm not too sure about this but if i remember correctly, at the beginning of the series it starts with teh in an audition for some role, and he's being asked what he would say to his friend who helped him get to this audition (or something along those lines). perhaps maybe that is also another indication that they might not end together romantically but most likely stay as (close) friends
