What did I just watch??? This is waaaayyyy too underrated oh my god, the soundtrack -insane, the cinematography - unmatched, the acting??? PERFECTION!!!
I started watching this casually since there was a lot of buzz around it on tt, but holy moly I have never fallen into the rabbit hole so quick. I honestly cannot believe when they say they had low budget and other issues because what?? I would argue this show is on par with some of the best/most high budget dramas out there. The cast, acting, and plot were top-notch but what really touched my heart is the script writing. The dialogue was so incredible, there was not a word out of place -I can only imagine how beautiful it sounds in the original Chinese. Absolute 10/10, if you are on the fence about starting this, please don't hesitate!!
I absolutely loved this show. They intertwined our beloved Hospital Playlist characters in such a wonderful way and the new residents and attendings all had a greats story and development. I honestly didn't think I would love this show as much as HP but they really outdid themselves again. Can't wait for season 2 :)
honestly i'm not too surprised, i couldn't get through episode 1. this plot of male/female lead losing everything, reconnecting with their childhood love etc etc is so overdone to me

i totally agree with you. and it makes even more sense with the following scene where Kinn gives Porsche his lucky gun which to me basically signified him saying f u to Korn. he is willingly making himself vulnerable with Porsche as he makes the choice to be with him.

but someone tell me why porsche gets so damn wasted every time?? like bruh what are you doing letting your guard down like that on enemy territory.. others have said it on here/twitter and i agree that i feel like porsche seeks out attention and part of him doesn't mind getting attention from vegas (edit to add the attention while they are talking/working together, obviously not when vegas forced himself on him! i can definitely see that in his previous work as a bartender too, he loved to put on a show for everyone to get their attention. with that said, kinn is indeed overly jealous and does not trust porsche yet, something he will need to learn in order for their relationship to grow.
pete definitely had a spark in his eye during the vegas torture scene lmao, i see u pete let me also say i looved the sets for vegas/minor family's house. so gorgeous and such a different, freer vibe from the main family where everything is clean and controlled.
i can write a whole analysis on every scene this ep -what a masterpiece. they just keep outdoing themselves!!
