Mbc and I don’t have a good relationship when it comes to their modern drama and shows. In fact, my family don’t even watch kdrama anymore cuz they think there’s nothing good coming out. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much for on the verge of insanity after oh my Ladylord and I have a plan. But if it’s a good one, I’ll say “screw it. I’m gonna go see it.” And then at least we got something decent.

Especially with oh my Ladylord, that was the final straw of Mbc. That drama made me have a mental breakdown
I usually watch a drama that looks interesting with an interesting story. To be fair, I did watch flower in prison because of the director so I had high hopes and it was pretty good surprisengly. But still, even with good writers, directors, and actors involved doesn’t mean it will be good.

Yea. Back then, Mbc used to make so many great drama. That’s why it was considered the best out of the three free to air. Now, kbs and sbs are making more great drama even tho tvn and jtbc dominates the drama success. Plus, the previous Mbc drama recently was infamous for having bad reviews and that shows how Mbc doesn’t make great drama anymore. Do you not know jewel in the palace? I agree with your point on how disturbing the drama is and when I read the summary, I thought that goal that the girl have is very dumb and one of the stupidest goal to make for life. There are better goals to achieve in life than destroy people’s happiness like going to medical school to become a doctor or live on your own etc. or better for a hobby, I rather improve my cosplaying skills or craft a cosplay costume without paying so much money.

Honestly although Junho is a good singer in 2pm, I don’t think he fits for the role as the king. Did you even watch the 2007 version of Yi San? That was a great drama. Watch that instead. It has a good love story too with the same character. Plus this is more of a remake squished together into a 16 episode drama
