I had high hopes from this drama since I really enjoyed the first few episodes but the more I watch, the more it’s disappointing me. It really had the potential to be a great 10/10 drama.
I'm currently in episode 12 and a lot of things don't make any sense 1. Somewhere around episode 8-10, when the police team were following that truck and had to fight Min Juyoung's team, only Ji Hanna had a gun but noone else did. Why? All of them are police and I think they all allowed to keep a gun with them. 2. It’s always the 5 policemen fighting hundreds of guys from Min Juyoung's team. They're literally the police and they should also have a backup team to fight for them. I'm not sure if I'm missing out or anything but even as cops, they have little to no power, they're literally fighting like normal citizens. 3. The reason why Ji Hanna broke up with Jong Hyeon is still not clear. 4. Dong Ju is too clumsy and immature. 5. FL barely shows any emotions. Always stiff and no matter how damgerous things can get for ML, she doesn’t seem enough tensed. Her character in the earlier episodes was also annoying, like how she looked down on ML 6. Both ML and FL keep engaging into extremely dangerous and unnecessary fights without discussing it with others which is really annoying to watch again and again.
I wished to see more of their marriage (not just the wedding ring on fl's finger -_-) and SURELY DIDN’T WANT TO SEE HER GRAVE EVEN IF THE YEAR WAS 2074, IT WAS UNNECESSARY. I failed to think of the ending as a completely happy one because of that scene😭
I think majority feels the same on how the last few episodes ( 10-14) we all cried, but I think it will be happy…
I hope so, but I've watched 3 of the screenwriter's other dramas and disliked the endings of all of them. I felt that such happy endings aren't realistic at all. So I'm afraid that this drama might have a similar forced happy ending. Sorry for my bad English.
I binged the 14 eps in 2 days, it was very enjoyable at first but as the story progressed, I started to get annoyed because of how sad and stressful it is😭 The leads grew on me and I wanted to watch many more happy moments of them but seems like this wish won't come true :(

About the ending, I think it would have been better if it was a sad one. I would've also loved it if Guwon returned as a human and not a demon. But no, I'm disappointed.
At the beginning it was really really good. Ngl it was about to become my most favorite fantasy k-drama among the ones I have watched. But at around ep 7-8, the quality of the story started to go down. I have no issues with the acting, all of them did an excellent job in my opinion. But the plot afterwards could've been a thousand times better. Overall, it's just a regular and predictable rom-com-fantasy drama with some unnecessary issues and an extremely messy plot. However, the cinematography >>>
What does acting their age even mean? Because as someone the same age as them I see nothing particularly amiss.
1. Sang-do doesn’t even try to move on from Samdal even though he knows very well that Samdal loves Yongpil since long ago. 2. For Samdal, not visiting her hometown and meeting her parents for EIGHT YEARS just because of her ex is just weird and enough to prove that she isn’t mature enough to be 38-39 y/o imo 3. I hate how stubborn Samdal's mom is. She kept the daughters in the dark about her sickness for many years and doesn’t give a damn when the daughters forbid her to go diving.. and so on. :)
I hate to say this but not even a single character here is acting their age. Everyone is just too immature to be "adults" (except Yong-pil I guess) while Ha-Yul is too mature to be a kid. However, I really like this drama as it has such a comforting vibe. I also love how the story is getting better and better with every episode :D
I don't feel bad for him, you'll hate him soon when his true self come out
I was also suspicious of him in an earlier episode but the way his eyes look at her seems so sincere to me🫠 I really hope he doesn’t turn out to be a bad one
I started watching this with no expectation as I thought this one would be a typical one like other rom-com-fantasy K-dramas but this is just so enjoyable!
I watched till ep 10 and I see literally no love for Ranjoo in Mr. Lee. He has always been extremely greedy and selfish person, I don't understand why Ranjoo still doesn’t leave him for good. Maybe it's possible if anyone is VERY weak-minded and can't get away from the attachment, but Ranjoo has always been quite strong-minded throughout the drama. Ranjoo still being attached to that guy is kinda out of character for her in my opinion.
1. How does Mok-ha know about the song "That Night" which was written because of Ki-ho? She was on the island…
I guess you're right about the 1st one🫡 and about the 2nd one, I think they could've still showed her wearing the same dress (but a bit torn and shabby maybe?) as she was 16 then, and most girls are already 80% grown up physically within 16. And the t-shirt she was wearing at first was quite large in size too.
