Person Henry Huo
Does anyone know if he's still making music after the whole controversy with his ex-girlfriend who was caught lying about everything? It states on Wiki that he withdrew from the entertainment industry after his ex had initially spread the false info because he felt it affected too many people, but after the criminal case and all, will he be returning? His compositions are literally great, I hope he returns to making music.

Ngl I like the way the novel depicts Zhao much better than the drama as the novel gives him actual skills related to his work besides a gun and has clarifying moments for when he breaks out of his facade. Though I'm just nitpicking as I still really enjoyed the show. Also to those who dislike the ending, I recommend reading the extra the author wrote that turns the slightly bittersweet ending into something much happier as it resolves our anxiety as to what happens "next".

Bromance
I agree, their relationship in this show is very interesting and intriguing to watch. The only reason this show falls under bromance in the first place is because of Chinese censorship of homosexual relationships. The novel this show was adapted from clearly depicts their relationship as romantic, and in my opinion even though their "romance" is muted in the show, it still shines through from their glances, actions, and words. There are also several scenes where the dialogue indicates how Zhao feels through his interactions with other characters. I believe that their relationship isn't the only strong point of this show as the storyline is also quite captivating. I strongly recommend this show, if you've seen The Untamed then I would say the censored romance in that would be comparable to the censorship in this show. When it comes to Chinese dramas and their censorship on homosexuality, I can't find a stronger contender for a bl drama than Guardian and The Untamed that still depicts their relationship without straightforward actions. The majority of Chinese BL dramas that I've seen, if not all, have the "censored romance" tag which can also be seen listed on this show. All in all, I just strongly recommend this show.
-Also have to point out that their relationship is still so obvious (that they're more than just "friends") in the show that China literally removed it off of Youku for, as they phrased it, "disturbing content". It's back on now, but only for VIPs.

Oof I was about to start watching season 1 and then you tell me that it doesn't end at season 2?? There's a third season?? I really hope that season 2 doesn't have too bad of a cliffhanger then considering I have to wait til 2021 for it to be released.

Woahh I watched the anime, never knew that there was also a live-action adaptation of the novel. The anime focused a lot more on food though and how she solved problems with her skills which was partially why I watched it, so idk if this would be worth watching.
