well you can't really blame her!! she was broken up with just saying 'it's getting too serious' she must have felt as if she was played around with!! of course everyone reacts differently to a certain situation; for you the right thing to do would be to look for a reason and see what he is doing; but I think Megumi felt that the best thing is just to forget him because he suddenly broke up with her and acted like a jerk (of course she didn't know the reason behind it); I think both your and Megumi's reaction are understandable and I think you shouldn't dislike a character just because they don't react to things the same way you do. try to understand her then maybe you will like her or at least not hate her^^
