It's good since the start, beginning is a little bit confusing but starting episode 2 it's already addictive.
So if you watched so many episodes and still don't like it, I think there's just no point in watching more of it, I guess it's just not your type of show, because it doesn't change.

They're equally responsible, one hit him first by accident (of his fault, was drunk too on top of that) and then took him and looked for someone else to kill the kid and take the blame.
And the other came there and just accepted the request and murdered a child.
They're equally responsible as he hired him to do that and injured and took him first I guess.
It's way worse than just an accident tho and yea he was despicable and the way he talked to the FL was awful.
She just did to him what he did to her kid (except she had no intentions to do that and came there just to ask him to apologize to her son and obviously wasn't in her right mind and he said all of those things about how he was obstacle that should just die somewhere else) and she was remorseful later, not towards him but towards family he had.

Right right, she did insist that he should be honest with her with anything, but it's because she's supposed to defend him and needs to know everything.
So it's not really a situation where it had to go both ways. Like he said before, he didn't know much about her and that's ok since only she had to know things in order to defend him.
Also it was honestly so rude of him to just start going through her stuff? It wasn't even like it was out he was snooping around and opening her boxes and that's pretty weird of him

He didn't really do anything to make her suffer now, just didn't help her out at first, and wanted to live his life.
After his grandpa died and he found out she lied to him for his whole life and was just threatening his mother with that fact. Eventually things like this get piled up too, not long before that her fiance died and she couldn't care less. His family member died and she couldn't care less. It's not strange to stop chasing to help someone who doesn't care about you, or anyone, other than themselves.
But like genuinely idk if the site that I was watching it on didn't crop something out somehow lol.
But imo the only bad part about his character was how long he stuck around her.
He could see that she wasn't a good person, and blaming himself for it endlessly was ridiculous, when he never did anything wrong, but tried to help her. His mother did something wrong, yes. But that doesn't put fault at him, just like it wasn't her fault that her father was the way he was. I get that she manipulated him but he didn't have contact with her for a while, wouldn't that help?

its just that "for his age" takes away from it being a compliment and makes it the opposite lmao. If you say "shes pretty, for someone whos fat" "smart for a woman" and basically any thing with similar ending its just a backhanded compliment and not something anyone wants to hear 🙃 so if your intention isnt being rude, dont say it lol
Its rude especially when refering to someone whos in his 30s and acting as if it equals being old and unnatractive when its literally still young unless you live in a place with life expectancy of 40-50

i didnt finish it yet, but she literally didnt deserve anything. She was betrayed by her friend and lover, who made it clear before that he didnt want to go to germany with her, that he didnt want to get married to her. She just didnt care about him, she didnt care that he didnt want to do all of those things, she just wanted him to be by her side no matter how far from what he wanted it was. Leaving without saying anything was definitely wrong, but she didnt love him either but was obsessed with him. Seeing how she didnt want to let him go after all these years and lied to and drugged a guy with amnesia, who knows what shed do if they informed her about leaving. They werent her only people too, she had a mother and grandpa who cared deeply about her, but instead of focusing on them and moving with her life she was obsessed with them. She was a victim at first, in a way, when they left her (which was different from what she did to them too, they left because they loved eachother, without intending to hurt her) but then she just became an absolute villain. Harrasing children and manipulating them for her own gains, planning and taking a part in kidnapping and traumatizing a small child, stalking and harassing that woman, doing all she did to her "husband". They just left her and loved eachother, and all she did was try to cause them harm after so many years and brought innocent children into it. Tbf it was never their fault, just hers, she was just mentally ill and obsessed. She had people who cared about her but instead she only focused on those who moved on. Plus abused children lol. I hope she dies at the end tbh.
She just blames and hurts everyone around instead of moving on, seeing a doctor and accepting that shes to blame for how her life went. Not anyone else. I didnt dislike any character as much as hers in a while lol. They did wrong by cheating and not giving her a clear end, which she probably wouldnt accept anyway, meanwhile she was a monster.

hes one of the main actors, so its understandable to feel sick seeing someone like this on the screen acting all sweet

you generalize kdramas, while being against doing that to jdramas? its so weird, and lets not forget that japanese version is just based on korean webtoon. you should remember that while praising them on their artisty lol.
theres many bad japanese shows and movies that are as deep as a puddle, many that are badly made, and many that are focused in positive light on things that are wrong and illegal in other places. like the other person mentioned theres plenty of those focused on teacher student romantic relationships, things like that between siblings or young children and some random adults lmao.
there are bad and good korean and japanese shows, just like in every country.
but saying korean ones are all bad and not caring about art because of one show is just, ridiculous, and so is saying its flawed while japanese is perfect, while it has so so many disturbing flaws as well lol.
its good to not be obsessed with a country and think that everything that comes out of it is perfect because chances of that are zero <3

I think at first they had a good chemistry, it's just that at some point it all shifted to the side, and most of the scenes with him were him being jealous. Him asking her to move out when she had no other options and living there was affordable and all that was already a little strange since he did know she didn't have money and would have to work day and night to afford that, on top of her studies. Well, maybe more than a little strange, super inconsiderate. And then they'd just show him being jealous, asking her to not go somewhere or being upset he was there to support her when he couldn't, and lashing out on her, her stopping him up and all that. So I think at first he was likeable and they had chemistry, it's just that season two washed it away completely.

She didn't know he likes her, what are you talking about 😭 even the ml didn't know he liked her for a good while, they just saw eachother as best friends

Tbh you made it sound much much worse than it was. He's she kissed sml and dated him, but! That was before either her or the ml understood that they had feelings for eachother, and not the kind that just best friends they were since forever have.
It wasn't really a love triangle at all in the first season. They were best friends, she fell for the other guy because he helped her and was just generally the kind of person she liked.
And while she was dating sml, after a while actually, ml realised that he has feelings for her. Neither of them dated before, so it's just that once they did they realised that they were eachothers priority.
Honestly the only thing I'm upset at is that sml was a pretty likeable character but then it changed a bit later because all they showed was his jealousy, I guess it was a boy understandable tho at times, but still.
Plus that they just skipped that girl ml liked for a little bit was cheating on him lol.

It's not too frustrating! In the first season it's basically not existing, in the second it's a little bit confusing and frustrating at first but honestly would still recommend watching it!! ^^ It's such a warm show

Sanhas mom is literal devil also by bringing the kid there trying to manipulate them all so they wont be able to tell her to leave easily? haejun is kinda frustrating too in this episode bc its like?? ok understandable that he misses his mom seeing that sanhas mom came but?? its so annoying that he acts like he should welcome her back with open arms. bc their situations arent the same at all? his mother loved him and idk why she left him but seemed to care for him a lot when she was there. Vs sanhas mom?? She wished him to be dead and to never smile, was talking about how evil of a child he was and said that he ruins everything and should never be born, blamed him for his sisters death and brought it up to him many many times not allowing him to mourn at all and taking away pictures of her? When it was her fault because you shoould never leave two kids this small alone for so long? or expect a child as small as he was to take care of another kid at all? and apparently it was two days? so she neglected him before and neglected him even more after and straight up abused while also up announcing how much she hated him and how he was crazy evil and better off dead? its so annoying omg.

Yess, and her talk about how she shouldve told her from the start instead of lying, and how then they could be friends. The way she treated her irl was far different from from online, she started bullying her in a way that was really brutal and disgusting, and could land her in jail in normal place. And then she had the guts to say that? All she did was say how ugly and unworthy she was.
All bc someone said she was talking about her? So... She decidced to beat her up, steal her things, humiliate, offend and scare every day, in every way pissible? Because she didnt want her classmates to know she was poor? Her whole sob backstory was pathetic and she was just a criminal
It was ridiculous how all she did was feel sorry for herself and be angry at mc. While normal thing would to feel bad herself because she treated someone who was supposed to be her friend in the worst way possible.
Instead of feeling bad she acted like it was a great fun for mc and she was the guilty one. it was so blood boiling omg horrrrrible.

He may change later, but based on the things shown so far i find it very difficult to find him a good match for her and likeable in general. Ofc it may somehow change later, but for now hes losing as much as possible to the sml

Oh, by the long period of time i didnt mean the past flashbacks, but current times.
So my point was, you said that everyone says hurtful words to their loved ones sometimes. Adn thats true, but it wasnt just a moment for him but the whole period of time that they were shown working there.
The way he treated her was far from nice and friendly, referring to her as a thing, not defending her from others but rather siding with them, and then saying how much shame she brings on him because others ask why would he ever date her. Say how unimpressive and pathetic she is.
Complaining about how he has to help her out so shes not as much of a shame to him. All of the small moments in this show from the present times, other than helping her with anxiety were rather rude on his side. Everyone says things they dont mean sometimes, but when you only say things like this and arent nice at all, its different.
+ mixing up his shoes on the way to her doesnt prove much to me, its normal to be stressed and miss something as unimportant as shoes in case like this, when you have to be in hurry. Wheter you like someone or not, you cant take extra time when theyre a step from dying.
Its normal to worry for anyone to this extent, especially when youre the reason they were chosen to film the thing that lead to that. Idk if his care for her was bigger than it would be for any other coworker he didnt like too much, if they were in the same situation.
Imo he was treating her as trash for most of the time, yes you can use wrong words sometimes, but then you apologise. He didnt, just kept acting like that instead. Its hard to cheer for someone like that to end up with her when she has nice and respectful person on the other side. SML made a mistake as well and didnt talk to her properly at some point, the difference between those two is that he acknowledged it and was treating her right and respectfully for the rest of the time.
