Double standards are when people understand why Bongsu is the way he is because of his past traumas but can't do the same with Geonu whose also the way he is because of his misfortune and how every one has been treating him...It doesn't matter if you have a reason to be evil yes maybe we try to understand you but it doesn't take away the fact that what you did was wrong... because I'd say Geonu at this point of life also has his own villain origin arc but for some reason he remains a good person....it's all about the choices we make...let's not make excuses...
The way you can actually see the spark in Seong ah's eyes has disappeared because GEONU isnt there anymore....I saw comments saying she fell for the looks and where as that's half true she literally admitted to it her self..she also said that she fell in love with GEONU because he's the kind of person who will see some one in pain and might not directly comfort them but will be there to share in that pain because he knows what pain feels like..he's felt it he's entire life...he is the person that saw through Seong ah's fake smile at school when they had just met.....yes to GEONU Seong ah is the light in his dark life but also to Seong ah GEONU is also the light..in short they are eachothers light...
The Bongsu vs. Geonu debate often oversimplifies things. The reality is, they share more similarities than differences. Geonu's reactions are a direct result of relentless trauma and suffering, compounded by constant reminders of his perceived flaws. It's understandable that such persistent negativity would shape his character. Bongsu, on the other hand, has also endured trauma, but time and distance have dulled the immediacy of his pain, unless it's re-triggered. If his memories were as fresh as Geonu's, his demeanor might be vastly different. It's fine to have a preference, but let's not dismiss the validity of their individual experiences to prove a point.
why does Gyeon-U have to suffer so much... let him catch a break ππππΌ
Right like he can't be happy for two minutes...and people complain about him being closed off or why he's the way that he is..like come on....his own parents hate him, he was tormented by this Sharman his entire life..he lost the one person in the world that was always there for him..he has to deal with the guilt of being the reason his friend was hurt in the past..he's constantly on the verge of death..he's now possessed...the writer really went all in π₯²
This drama is EASILY my favourite this year by far. Like, how am I feeling bad for Yeom Hwa, of all people, right…
I usually complain when a hellish character is given a sob story but hers is so well done I can actually see why she became the monster she did...but at the same time I want her to take a chill pill
It's just so hard..to watch a drama while coming to this website lately..like it has never been easy but these days it's like all people have to offer is negativity and don't start with the we all have our own opinions mantra...it's just plain negativity...some one watched two minutes of a show and suddenly they expect the entire plot to unfold in those two minutes...
you are forgetting that gyeon u is on the verge of death. from the beginning of drama he was address as newly…
Right...anyways IAM just getting options for both to stay but it's more likely bongsu has some unresolved grudges and then he'll move to the after life....
Yes I love bongsu but can he possess some other kid on the verge of death or something GEONU deserves to live in his own body and live a happy life too..like I understand it's the same for bongsu but the body has its owner....anyways at this point IAM just feeling bad for everyone...I just hope they all catch a break at the end of the show....
How pitiful and miserable can you make a character?
