What if Yoon dong Jins coming back is to cause Yi Chan's accident...I remember in 2023 when he was asked about the band first love manipulators he said that it had to disband because a certain member caused trouble and that member could have been Yi Chan. We thought he had left this time because Eun gyeol pretended to be him but that didn't change the fact that he had to interact with Yi Chan and also probably cause his accident.
This time round I think he might not necessarily have the beef on Yi Chan but Eun gyeol and as he will try to harm Eun gyeol....Yi Chan would try to save him and either get hurt or not.
This is just a theory because the preview shows his character coming back and I don't think his role is gonna be simple.
Eun yu's plan is silly unthought out and doesn't make sense but at the same time which kind of “ Perfect plan” would I expect from an 18 year old who travelled back in time in a blink of an eye.

I already said this.....Eun gyeol knows the future and he is working so hard that it remains that way but that doesn't take away the fact that the Yi Chan he has met in 1995 isn't the Yi Chan in the future who is his dad...what iam trying to say is that he has his own feelings and thoughts and that's something that can't be changed..so instead of creating situations that might cause conflict how about try and match make your parents by setting them up together.... although this might not be effective seeing that Yi Chan is still having a crush on sekyung......
You guys have to understand that Yi Chan's entire personality used to revolve around having to do things without leaving any regrets behind and also getting the girl he wants ( Segeong) untill he met Eun gyeol and for now those two are important in his life...asking him to choose between the two is down right pressurizing..I mean yes we want him to get over Segeong but it's not going to happen in a heart beat....it's gonna take time.....he isn't a non player character in Eun gyeol's time travelling adventure......he has feelings and can think for himself....as much as I love Eun gyeol and understand how pressurizing it is after the dream of the future he got...he should still take things slow....
