the pacing is fine...first four episodes to build the story introduce the characters and the last four to probably dive more into their back stories and explain more about the light shop and it's owner....I actually don't think it's fast or slow.

I think the girl is in a comma...hence her ability to see dead people including her mother...she could be living in this loop confused with wether she's alive or dead......as for other questions about the light shop and the light shop man..Iam sure they will be answered in the coming episodes

Okay I understand that this show is not for to enjoy but it's definitely atleast rhe first four episodes are definitely worthy of something above an 8 but MDL ratings aside...I love the story flow and direction..like moving which Iam sure is from the same creator i appreciate the character driven narrative....with each character having a story..and then Iam looking forward to how all the stories are interwoven into the main plot..the acting is good and the horror is well done..like the chilling aspects of it...so far it's good

I also expected some kind of twist that he learnt sign language to be able to communicate with her...but I don't think that's the case..I think he might learn it later according to the trailer.
