A strong female lead doesn't necessarily have to be one that knows how to fight or wield a sword...a strong female lead can be potrayed as mentally and emotionally strong but also have some vulnerability in her that makes her human..she is smart, quick witted but also kind...and can also be cunning to those that deserve it..that's what's standing out about the female lead in this drama and something Iam loving quite alot...
Another brilliant episode...this show is so good and if it keeps this up for all the 40 EPISODES it's definitely in my top three dramas this year...I love how he shut them all up with his skills at the literary bouquet....and how Ning came out to support him when they were all questioning him on performing...these partners in crime are everything to me....LJX please disappear already at this point his obsessed with both Yining and Shenyuan.....
Unrelated but I love madam lin...there is a way she starred proudly at Shen yuan when he was being complimented by the famous scholar that warmed my heart..she is the mother that he didn't have.....can't wait for more episodes
This is one of the shows where I feel like one of the leads isn't over shadowing the other...like we have a smart quick witted yet adorable FL and a smart, gentle ml who acts weak but rather has a tough side to him like these two together are a powerful duo and there characters just compliment eachother so well...both are carrying so hard
This has to be one of the first times this year that I anxiously wait for new episodes....Iam hooked
I love how they are developing the leads relationship.. slowly and in a way that's really heartwarming to watch how they both look out for each other..he protects her while she is trying to earn him the respect he deserves..they are both precious to me....

Unique , original, Artistic, inspirational and entertaining...that's how I can describe the first two episodes..the acting is good and Iam seeing some qualities of Kim taeris character in 2521 in her character here..I guess it's the whole theme of resilience and following ones dreams plus her beef with Shin ye runs character reminds me of naheedo and yurim back in 2521 anyways that's being said this is off to a great start and Iam loving it
finally binged thirteen episodes and I love a mature, calm, collected out spoken smart female lead...like I love her..she might not be strong physically but clear is strong mentally emotionally and is smart....if anything I think Iam loving the series more because of her...t I love how the male lead is so like calm and gentle but also has this tough side to him...anyways Iam loving it..didn't expect too but Iam enjoying every minute of it....and I can't wait for more...I also love how the FL and ml like compliment eachother in a way that both are smart...which makes them such a powerful duo...and can I say I love madam lin..she's such a mood...and I love how she's low-key a savage...Iam loving every minute of this and waiting for episodes is becoming unbearable
