This drama has the ability to make me smile throughout an episode like expect for the parts where I have to roll eyes for the ex..... otherwise I always automatically get a smile on my face while watching it...can't believe that we have three episodes left
Actually I don't think she was in her right frame of mind to know that the person she was hurting was Shen..you can see that by how she got back her senses after her son told her it was Shen....so it's more than possible.
As for Milan becoming a vampire they are following the source material the only difference is that it's Shen who does it this time instead of the novel where if Iam not mistaken situ changes her.....

I didn't read the novel but Iam sure theres more to the story than what mo said....I remember them saying that once you collect all three stones then you get some kind of power so what if that's what's needed to save him from dying like his aunt did...anyways I don't want to overthink right now but Iam sure there is more to the story than we know....
In the teaser for EP 18, Li Liang promises situ that if he helps him capture Shen then he will make sure jjx starts to like situ and Iam sorry I hope situ is smart enough to know that the guy the girl you like likes...can't in no way help you convince the girl who likes him to like you ( wow that was a tongue twister...ðŸ˜ðŸ˜…)
As for the whole situ is emotionless topic..I mean he doesn't perceive emotions like human beings do but you can tell from his actions that he cares for Shen....other wise how would you explain him always taking care of his injuries and him..him saving him..it's clear he cares..actions matter too...and Iam sure Shen sees that too he's just a bit too mad at him for now to think Cleary...
I must say I love SZH and Milan's little interactions..like they are subtle but they warm my heart....like I love how she looks up to him and is like super protective of him and how he is willing to do anything for her...I love them💜
Iam gonna use this moment to appreciate the costume department in this drama because they sure no how to dress these guys up and I love how each one of them had a dress code that matches their character......like their outfits match the aura of their characters.....
i understand why mr shen is mad and i understand also why situ keeps it a secret. i can't get mad to both of them.
both aren't at fault one kept it a secret because he was scared of the consequences and the other feels betrayed because he trusted him and didn't expect him to be the lost brother he desparately searched for ....they will make up and get over it

trust me it made sense..yes he wanted to find his long lost brother and even shared his sentiments with him......it's only human he would feel betrayed that the person she so desparately searched for was right their next to him the entire time and he knew.... Ofcourse his anger will subside later on but it's justified
