i literally cant look at these comments anymore, wherever i look its just some hate or toxic comment towards one of the contestants or multiple trainees. why does everybody like to bring down other people for their favs? let's just accept the fact that ALL of them are talented, no one excluded

did i ever talk about the evaluation team? i talked about their talent and never said NO ONE voted based on visuals. i personally don't, and i do vote for talent. plus there are 8 spots in the final lineup, and there's chance that they will add a 9th one so every trainee's got a chance to make it. i meant that, since its a survival show, people need to choose favorites and least favorites instead of the judges like during auditions. the production and evaluation teams are doing what the audience wants, since knetizens are literally obsessed over visuals. but we shouldn't just say that EVERYONE is. cause, yes. i would've still voted for him in the final lineup if he didn't have the looks, i've been following him and other inkode trainees for a while and i do know that they're all talented. whether or not the trainees fit the kbs, that's how the company and the survival show will sort them out, but trust me, i know most people do vote for talent and not based on visuals only.
should we talk about their stage presence? 'a silent face cards means nothing' yeah of course. but this is not the case. both liyu and masato have great stage presence and expressions on stage so what you said isnt exactly relevant.
survival shows are never fair, every contestant is always talented but, since people need to vote for them and specifically in this one korean votes value 50%, the most talented trainees aren't probably gonna debut, but there's no reason to attack the other ones. everyone there is doing their best and hoping that this show will fulfill their dreams to become and idol.

i did get your point, and because of that, i can clearly tell you that (if he does make it into the final lineup) he will improve so much thanks to his company and the other members that he will become as good as the other trainees. i know of course, that wouldn't be fair for some contestants, but that's how all survival shows work. in every survival show, every contestants is really good but not all of them get to debut.

and in fact, for example, liyu improved so much in vocals and is doing great. plus, once they make it into the final lineup they'll have several months to train before their debut. let's look at sungmin from close your eyes, many people kept hating on him and saying he definitely wasn't ready to debut, but once the group did he showed up with an amazing improvement in both dance and vocals.

liyu's performance on the class test wasn't that great, but he danced almost perfectly and had great expressions, plus he was clearly really nervous and can we blame him for that? the fuck, no. his hola solar performance was actually good, because he again was nervous, and that's completely normal in front of the masters, plus both the dance and the vocals in the song were really hard so he tried his best and managed to do actually well. on his plot twist performance, in the 1v1 team mission, he got the killing part and did perfectly. his vocals were really good and his dance amazing. his expression, again, were great and we can't argue about any of that. we also saw how hard-working he is and how much potential he actually has.
meanwhile, for masato. his first performance on the class test wasn't aired in the episode, but he did so well. his dance was amazing and it was actually an hard version of the dance, for a trainee, and i can confirm because i had to study and then perform that version as well once. his vocals were really good, and always followed both the camera movements, but also looked at the masters. for the hola solar performance, he struggled and worked really hard, aksing other teammates and even yumeki which was of a lower class than him at the time. his performance was really good, his vocals were almost perfect for being a dance position and his dance was amazing. during the rising sun performance on the 1v1 team mission, he did soo well, both with dance and vocals. he also rapped a bit, which was something we didn't ever hear him do up until now. also, i started watching boys ii planet specially for masato, cause i've been following him and other inkode trainees for a while now and you can clearly see they're all really talented
