actually, i once had to sing this song as well for an assignment and yes it did have a lot of rap, he got the sub-vocalist part which had less. i watched the episode again and noticed that kangmin didn't look really satisfied and didn't want to give him the part, yeah, but i wouldn't call it gaslighting since at the end he didn't have much rap

actually, he only got a lot of screentime in planet k's ep 2. during planet k's ep 1 he only got reaction shots and they didnt even air his performance, same thing on ep 3 (labeled as 5 on viki)

i agree with you, but there wasn't much time to practice and that's probably what they thought (in hu aswell, since he didn't have much confidence those couple of days)

he practiced a lot for just one rap line, the main vocal had a lot of rap so that would take more practice and they all thought he wouldn't be that good before the performancehe recognized himself that he couldn't have done that much of a rap, thats why he agreed. he could've proved that he could've done it if he wanted to, like all the other contestants did but he just accepted it

that's not it, he said it himself he didn't wanna ruin the performance with his rap because he wouldn't sing it well enough so he agreed on letting the other one the main vocal part

he got one of the sub-vocals part, seo won suggested he took that one because it had less rap than the other vocal parts

personally i think that this lineup is really good, and i agree like i don't think debuted idols should be here cause yeah they would be helpful but they aren't giving a chance to the ones that haven't ever debuted yet. i think a better lineup would be:

i put leo last, because of the current controversy but this lineup would be better (imo)

he's my top1 pick, but not only for visuals he is actually really talented and hard-working. he just needs more screentime, because of that not many people know that he is, they didn't even air his performance during the first class test which is probably the reason.
