Can someone please summarize the plot up to episode 10?? I watched it but I genuinely do not understand what is going on; why that guy with a mean mothe (Yuan Ruo i think??) likes Minglan, the relation between Yuan Ruo and the ML, why the ML's older brother is tryna get him beat up, etc.
Also, I don't know if I'm slow or something, but I genuinely cannot tell the male characters apart (especially the ones the same age as the ML); they all have similar face shapes, noses, and big foreheads and I am genuinely so confused; I literally thought Yuan Ruo was the male lead until episode 10ish.
I've watched many Chinese dramas before (although most were modern), but this drama is so hard to understand, both visually and plot-wise. I really do want to continue watching b/c I've heard good things about this drama, but if I continue not understanding I might have to drop this :(
