most likely because there were hints about immortality etc. And immortality may mean transforming mind to other body. That kind of solution is nothing new in sci-fi. I don't like this idea but it's possible. Although if they will do it I hope it will be more of a surprise, for example we will think that her mind is in his body but later we will find out that she is in other body (lawyer). The other theory could be that she is alive and he hears her because of enhanced hearing. Anyway Han Hyo Joo played well so hope to see her in S2.
