it's better to say that social media give more attention to such stuff, like true beauty bc of the colors and cliche stuff, vincenzo bc of a cool male lead and now this bc of the tension and other things .... the drama has visuals and romance and they start watching it and share it more, no one on instagram talks about taxi driver bc there's no romantic tension so less ppl know abt that. smh
it's probably because it has the most amount of watchers currently, so more people watching equals to higher ratings.…
it's obv bc of the cliche plot and a hot male lead character that's why a lot of kdrama viewers feel good to watch such shows. seo inguk dramas never get this much attention although his other dramas were actually good. park bo young's last drama was a flop tho. i'm not saying the drama is not about actors but it's mostly about its plot and those cliche stuff a lot of ppl love lol.
i bet everyone keeps on watching because of the actors and so do i lol. the story is so boring and cliché, it's easy to watch and predictable and nothing new. seo in guk and park bo young look good together, they'd save the show for sure
i also have seen some comments and here are some things you need to know before commenting:
1. there's NO LOVE LINE here! if there will be, it's between those teenagers not magician (yes your boy is not the typical second lead here take a deep breath)
2. magician is in his 30s! he's a mysterious character, this man is just something you haven't seen in any drama, the most interesting part of the plot. and i hope the drama follows the webtoon for that.
i suggest that you need to go and read the webtoon before anything. it's AMAZING. completely deep and meaningful. i'm a big fan of this work and i hope the drama is as good as it.
His character isn't paired with the FL and there is no romance in this drama... also the female actor is 25-26…
who is type casted? jcw? lol. that's what he's trying to scape from, go watch some of his dramas. in lovestruck in the city he's a grown man, is backstreet rookie he's a clumsy but cute guy, in k2 he's manly. your cm is just showing your hatred, if you watch his dramas, you'll see how wrong you sound here.
judging from new pics, jcw lost a lot of weight for this role and he really looks like the magician in the webtoon! choi sung eun will be great but i'm kinda not feeling hiy in this?? maybe nam da reum would have been better for ill deung role since he's younger. but i guess i have to wait to watch the drama and trust the pd bc the other casts is just perfect, i hope i can like hiy too.
filming has started i guess! there's no official news yet but i hope it's for 2021. i'm a big fan of this webtoon and i really can't wait to see how it will turn out!
i have bad feelings abt this drama since day one, first for jisoo bc yall know she may lacks some acting still bc obv she's an idol not just any idol but a very international idol so i just hope she's fine bc if we talk abt her, her fans are gonna eat us up alive lol. but this issue is very sensitive!!! even worse than CE so i'm really worried. jisoo's character name is real, main lead is a spy i guess? and black comedy something like vincenzo? if that's their black comedy it's gonna be a huge disrespect lol but i just hope they've learned their lessons from sbs and the show is clean. it's a hard job bc so many ppl are against it already :/
not gonna talk about how i dislike this genre even when i was a teenager myself lmao but damn this was too overhyped!!!!!!!! like i get it it's a simple cute drama for teens and there's no problem but pls! it's like boys over flowers syndrome again, ppl who don't have a clue of korean dramas already watched these two bc yall made them very famous (i don't even care abt bof bc it was kinda good for those years) and they're like "all korean dramas are always like this! cringe!" after almost 10 years, kdramas developed to be a lot better, better plots and production and this drama with a lot of hype ruined it all lol, now i have to recommend more ppl to watch better dramas, "KDRAMAS ARE BETTER THAN THESE PLS!"

YOU just need to understand what i meant here, don't hype stupid dramas like this. there are also a lot of better romcoms to watch for those newbies.
newbies will always defend such dramas and it shows.
