Well, I don't really know why anyone would call her a Mary Sue. She wasn't free of weaknesses or free of character…
You literally respond to everything that’s slightly against this drama. It’s one of the only two you’ve actually finished on your profile, and you gave it a review with +10 points for everything. What a bot you are, lmao. At least try to hide it

I've watched a lot of dramas over the years, but honestly, I've never seen one as beautiful as this. No action, no complicated plots just a pure, honest love story that really hits you. Sang Yan is simply perfect, and to me, he's the heart of it all, no disrespect to the others. With every episode and every flashback, I kept falling more for him. He's one of those characters that stick with you. I watched this like a teenager, totally caught up in the emotions... and now that it's over, I just feel that empty space you get when something really special ends

People find the FL annoying, but I actually think she’s fun. On the other hand, the ML is extremely irritating with his hero complex, always sacrificing himself, doing everything in the shadows, but never explaining anything. He just keeps making her suffer without giving her a single reason. I’m on ep12 and all he’s done so far is hurt her while staying completely silent. So frustrating.

The FL, despite going through a huge and sudden change, has always been honest and straightforward. But the drama just keeps piling up unnecessarily because of him…

I like strong female characters, I actually came here 'cause it was recommended while looking for dramas like LLTG. But this is basically a cheaper version. The FL is a total Mary Sue, and it's so boring. She just shows up somewhere, and everyone’s like, 'Wow, she’s so smart! I don’t know her, but let’s just trust her with my years of experience.' And that’s basically the whole thing. I don’t even think she’s that smart. Oh well
On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Mar 30, 2025
One of those times when the second part is way better than the first. The final drama was my only issue, those 5 years felt so unnecessary. They could’ve spent that time on more scenes of the leads actually married, but oh well, I still enjoyed it

It seems the story's depth and nuance might have been overlooked here. By looking beyond surface-level appearances…
Nice attempt at sounding deep, but there’s nothing nuanced about bad writing. Characters making dumb choices for forced drama isn’t complexity, it’s just bad storytelling. If you have to look closer to justify weak characterization, that says it all...

They both are on opposite sides so she is using his attraction to her to get the upper hand. I don't see that…
Using manipulation in negotiations is one thing, but messing with someone who has already saved your life multiple times and trusts you isn’t gray or smart, it's just toxic. If the roles were reversed, people would call the ML a manipulative abuser, not a dark character. And no, the ML isn't making strategic sacrifices, he's just blindly chasing after her, which makes him look pathetic, not clever. Chemistry doesn’t excuse bad writing.

You just contradict any opinion that isn’t praising this series, ignoring all its flaws and bad writing. Please don’t bother replying, I won’t be responding anymore

I liked the interaction between the protagonists at first, but the ML quickly turned into a simp chasing after a FL who kept manipulating and hurting him. When she destabilized him just to gain an advantage in a negotiation, I was done. She's pathetic, and the ML even more so. It's just ridiculous for someone with such a reputation, supposedly a legend. And don’t even get me started on how everyone acts like dumb little kids

To everyone who liked this show, please watch the underappreciated masterpiece that is Healer (2014)!! Yoo Ji…
Are you seriously comparing this to Healer? Hahaha, Healer is a drama for kids

Lee Kang Doo, a character I haven't been able to empathize with. Having a 'tragic' past doesn't give you the right to hurt others in that way, let alone justify both verbal and physical violence. I truly detest how Jung Yoo Jin continued to follow him like a little puppy, regardless of how poorly he treated her. He doesn't deserve her.

When you are an immortal… 1500 is practically a baby. So yes that makes sense. If you are new to xianxia type…
Missing out? More like missing brain cells. I can't wrap my head around the idea of a 1,500-year-old fairy throwing a tantrum like a toddler. It's absurd and ruins the whole concept of immortality. And don't even get me started on how it's used for cheap laughs in shonen anime. By the way, it's quite intriguing that you've become an expert on cdramas after just watching this one. The depths of your fandom are truly a marvel.

This kdrama is so weird. I liked it, but I feel like I wasted my time, you know? Nothing really happened; everything ended just like it started.

pd: Am I the only one who was expecting something to happen between the ML and the assassin?

This crap is like if you took all the bad stuff from Tokyo Ghoul and its ML and crammed it into 6 episodes...

So I checked out your profile. It doesn’t appear that you watch a lot of cdramas so I was willing to give you…
Thank you for taking the time to explore my profile. While it's true that I may not watch a significant number of cdramas, it doesn't invalidate my ability to provide a critical assessment. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and my 4.0 review reflects my personal experience and taste.

As for dropping a show, I believe it's essential to express genuine criticism when necessary, even if it differs from popular opinion. Being a critic doesn't make me a troll, but rather someone who values honest discourse about the shows we consume. I appreciate your perspective, and I encourage you to embrace diverse opinions rather than dismissing them.
