An avid drama watcher since 2015, mostly Korean dramas and BLs .
Favorite genres are romance, crime with a spice of romance, fantasy with a spice of romance, and any other genre with or without romance depending on the actors (though for me to go the non-romance route it has to be Ji Chang Wook or someone else I love).
Least favorite genres are noona-romance (I'm sorry), melodrama (ironic, I know) and anything and everything that gives me a sad ending. MODC you can take your sorry ass and go fuck yourself (me, still pissed? how'd you figure?).
What can I say, I'm a sappy romcom lover trying to heal her own emotional trauma by watching other people thrive in love, as one does. Unfortunately in the last few years real-life stuff, like having a job, has dwindled my ability and motivation to consume asian formats, but I'm slowly getting back into the game.
I prefer my shows freshly baked out of the oven and I'll only watch dramas on-air if I simply, absolutely can not make myself wait (aka Cutie pie, [or apparently anything with Zee in it since WHYRU broke my resolve as well]).
I'm a binge-watcher through and through and have a bad habit of spoiling myself the type of ending before watching (whether it's happy or sad, again with the emotional trauma).
My TOP 5 (Korean) dramas
Healer
Pinocchio
Kill me, heal me
Goblin
While you were sleeping
And a special mention from China:
Hidden Love
(Some might say there is a trend there but I refuse to hear it)
My TOP 5 BLs
HIStory 3: Trapped (you can tear this show out of my cold, lifeless grip because I won't let it go)
Not me
Bad Buddy
Utsukushii Kare (I know, I'm just as surprised)
The Untamed
(This is what I'm feeling currently, we'll see in a month or two haha.)
Mainly using MDL to keep track of my watchlist and for the occasional review (though I drop those usually in the comments).
What else... I like writing, knitting, black tea with oat milk, and reading.
I've also got a Tumblr with the same name you can check out if you feel so inclined.
