Also to add, it was very unnecessary to comment this, truly telling of your character and who you are as a person. I don't know how young you are, but in case no one has ever told you; you can hate on something without making fun of the people who enjoy it. But then again, looking at your reviews you seem to enjoy hating so I'm most likely just talking to someone who enjoys making other people feel small 🤷♀️
Gave it a solid 8, binged it in a few days and it was an entertaining, light-hearted romance. There wasn't anything too upsetting, and I understand the decisions with the last ep and I'm not mad at them. The plot was nothing unusual and the main conflict between the leads could've once again been solved with a converstation, but that's nothing new in drama land. Enjoyable easy watch.
edit: also seen a lot of ppl b*tch about the main fl which I don't relate to at all, I found her to be very likeable and capable. I was more annoyed at the male lead.
it's been 6 years and i'm still livid, nothing has made me as mad as this show did. modc is the reason i don't do on-air shows and spoil the ending for myself. fuck you, forever and always
Accidentally saw a spoiler (thanks episode descriptions...) for one of my most hated tropes and as much as I love the actors and like the characters, I've already skipped through some scenes so I don't think the show is good enough to sit through a trope I despise. Dropping at 6/16. I hate when writers shoot themselves in the leg.
I've read the novel and watched the original show, didn't know they made a remake! I'm curious and scared because the original show was so so precious but I'll defo give it a try, since the book remains gold they can't ruin it for me
I do hate love triangles, but it is an element that if used well can provide satisfaction when the guy/girl never…
"I want to be rewarded for my time; if I put the time and effort for hours into two people falling in love, I want to see them happy for longer than five minutes, and preferably defeating obstacles and enemies together instead of living defeated and in the ground."
you put my thoughts into words sooo perfectly! Yes. I definitely agree with everything you said
ouuu healer is a bit boring though imo... everything in that drama drags on for too long. maybe its just me though…
oh really? I enjoyed it a lot and it's been in my top 5 since 2015! I can see the flaws in it for sure but for me the overall made up for what it lacked :)!
To everyone who liked this show, please watch the underappreciated masterpiece that is Healer (2014)!! Yoo Ji Tae is not quite as big of a hunk in that but Ji Chang Wook more than makes up for it.. if you liked this, I think you'll really enjoy Healer! ^^ I kept noticing a lot of similarities while watching this
The first episode was torture and it didn't really get much better from there. I didn't like the plot or how little time there was for it and I didn't really like the characters either. I really question the writers' decisions on this one, I'm both regretful and amazed that I even finished it
