Yeah after the anime this was a bit of a letdown but I imagine it being good without any previous knowledge. I don't think anything can surpass the song in the anime but the one in the series fit them. All in all it wasn't bad but lackluster in comparison to the other two.
Can someone spoil me the ending, good or bad, happy or sad? I heard different versions and if I'm gonna put myself through all Mame's fuckery I need to know the ending will be worth it lol
I know that they're a married couple, but I've never seen so many bedroom scenes in a jdrama lol. and I can't…
I'm glad I didn't check his age before I watched, I'm not sure I would've been as emerged after knowing lmao. I totally bought them both for 27-year-olds and not early twenties! 0.0 He really impressed me with his acting for sure.
I absolutely adored this series. It was really good and I absolutely loved Haruta's personality. I'm used to seeing Japanese dramas with tsundere guys and dumb girls but she was brilliant. She works hard, is good at her job and is straight forward. She says what she wants and she was incredibly charming, I'm used to it being the other way around but she won the game hands down. The pacing in the first episode was bad but once the relationship was established I had no problem with it. I also do see why they had to rush the start. The amount of skinship amazed me, I'm not used to seeing so many kisses and sex scenes (though nothing raunchy) in Japanese stuff, that's what I was scared about. I'm so glad they acted like an actual married couple and weren't just awkwardly touching lips haha. A solid 8/10 in my opinion, simply a lovely 3-hour watch!
Ah, man I miss him. He will forever remain as my first k-drama crush haha, I was so in love with Hwang Tae Kyung back then kkkkhh. Oh what a time that was
You can watch it on youtube actually. OnoSoo is the channel name. You can also watch it on any of your usual asian drama screening sites (kissasian, dramacool etc)
This movie is one of my favourite things to come out of 2020, without a doubt.
What I love about this movie is that there are no bad guys. Every single character has reasons for the things they do and none of them are bad people. They're simply humans who make mistakes. Rena is not a very good mother at the start, but then by the end, we can see the effort she puts in for her child. She puts Sora first and realises her spending time with her father is more important than any personal feelings she might hold towards him and Shun. On the other hand, Nagisa is a great father all throughout the movie but he isn't aware of the hurt he has caused. By the end, he realises that he's the only one who can stop the pain and the fighting and make things better. Shun.. well, Shun is perfect lol. The only person I actually got mad at was Rena's lawyer but even he was just doing his job. Even if I think the man was prejudiced to start with.
This movie tells a great realistic story about the hardships gay people face, but also the inequality men face during custody battles. The love Shun and Nagisa have for each other is shown in everything they do, from the looks in their eyes to the kisses they share. All the character were good and well-written, I was genuienly sad when Ogata-san passed away :( He was such an important character and together with his love for Nagisa, Shun could finally come out of the closet.
Ah, I simply love this movie and have a feeling I'm going to keep coming back to in anytime I need my heart to be taped back together ♥
