His name stands for quality. I think Shun Oguri is one of those actors I never got tired of. I mean, once I was into all those actors that don’t give me goosebumps anymore, not even a tiny bit. Shun, like Eita, Ryochan and a few other just make me look forward to their dramas. Shun never fails to amaze me.
Long gone are the days of Lee Min Ho, MatsuJun, Jang Geun Seuk and all those other actors I once loved deeply.
that's a tricky slope to tread, when students look to their teachers for direction, honesty, inspiration and…
Yeah, you never know. Maybe for us female teachers it is a lil easier, because boys like young ladies more than us (nearly) older ones. The girls usually tend more to falling for a teacher and man never grow up and follow their animalistic instincts.
While I was a student I watched drama/movies like this. They were okay, but now that I am a Highschool teacher I can’t watch such drama. Or more like I am kind of out of Highschool drama in general. Relationships between students and teachers are themes that are really dangerous, even though they seem so romantic in drama and movies. Though those kids look mature with only a single word you can hurt them forever. So doing sth that huge, like letting them fall in love with you is just fatal.
While they are craving for the warmth of an adult to replace the warmth of their parents( ignorant or passive parents) you have to be careful as if you are handling an egg. Some kids you can just hug or touch on the shoulders, but for some this is a no go, because touching is intimacy for them and they can start having fault hopes.
I’m out of drama about teacher-student love stories......
I think I'm more open to Asian remakes of Asian dramas or Asian countries adapting their neighbour countries…
Like 'The Lake house' and 'Juno' for example are both I think we'll received remakes of Korean movies. I watched the original of both movies, but never really watched their US versions, still many ppl like those.
Maybe we are a lil bit to 'racist' about the western remakes.
