The episodes being 2 hours long is a really big problem for me, too. Still seeing those drama as a whole they are much, much, much better compared to the Turkish remake of Boys over Flowers. Turkey really improved in producing remakes.

You see, just trying to get a part of the fame of the original is a bad reason for a remake.
I like it if the remake sticks to the original plot, but adds some extra new cultural aspects.
It is all a matter of preference.
