Thank you, yes, some do a really nice work. Years ago they made a remake of 'The Nanny' in Turkey. Believe me that was a real fine work.

I'm also planning to watch 'The Good Doctor'. Let's see how they do it.

I know, China actually does a lot of remakes, but I usually don't watch Chinese drama.

Out in this world are so many good remakes, we just have to find them.

It was called " Güneşi beklerken". They failed totally in doing a decent remake.

The episodes being 2 hours long is a really big problem for me, too. Still seeing those drama as a whole they are much, much, much better compared to the Turkish remake of Boys over Flowers. Turkey really improved in producing remakes.
I never finish a Turkish drama, btw, cause they are tooooo long.

I haven't seen the US version of Good Doctor yet, but I'm a Doctor House-fan and the original was awesome.

See it is always about how we approach a remake. As long as we see it as a different story and don't start with thoughts like 'It will never beat the original' we can enjoy the watch.

I understand you full, but I didn't say if I liked all the versions of all the drama named. For the Korean HanaKimi you are totally right, but I still listen to the OST. :))))

You see, just trying to get a part of the fame of the original is a bad reason for a remake.
