Can u tell me in which ep he knows her identity that she is a girl
he starts suspecting in ep5 when seeing her in her "xie xiang" form, his suspicions are gradually confirmed all the way until ep16 when he tells her that he's known for a while
my guess is 7/12/25 Saturday, since it's usually a month between airing and filming if you count the other episodes…
OMG I WAS WRONG MB !! just checked trailer and they moved up the airing date, meaning the hi6 episode will be coming in a week. im literally so shocked rn 😮
hello 😊maybe this is off topic but have you also noticed that up until this year dramas had a max of 40 episodes…
40 is often set as the default on MDL, actual amount is only confirmed later on in the production period. I'm honestly ok with the shorter episode amount bc some shows manage to be draggy even with less episodes 🥲I won't name names but there are many highly anticipated shows that ended up wasting a good cast and plot bc of pacing
my guess is 7/12/25 Saturday, since it's usually a month between airing and filming if you count the other episodes lined up to air in between. some said that it might be aired earlier so that more fans would watch the hi6 episode before the show's popularity dissipates, but if you look at youthful glory, its hi6 episode was aired like over a week after it finished airing. i'm afraid we'll also need to wait a few more weeks 😭😭
I feel like we're watching different shows? or perhaps the subtitles didn't do they original dialogue justice?…
I think this'll be my last reply since we prob can never see eye to eye lol, as our interpretations differ. For the bedside scene, she wasn't trying to blame an unconscious man; how would he even hear her complaints?? She gave herself hope that he'll come back so they can continue fixing their grudges. She wants their entanglement to be enough reason for him to grasp onto life (since the doctor said he no longer had the will to live). Yes, facing a new truth is difficult, but HRY's current predicament is proof of what she's unwilling to let go of: her ties with BJS, including the good and the ugly.
If she only cared about her suffering, why would she show BJS the illusion to try to help him understand her life in his absence? She could've buried her pain in the past but instead decided to show her perspective. On the contrary, he didn't tell her about the thunderstrikes, and she only learned through a third party. I applaud BJS for "going that far", but that doesn't justify his methods. She was left with the impression that it was a one-sided love and dearly grasped onto her child with the little strength that she had, since it was the last remnant of her relationship with BJS. He heroically took those strikes for her, but his good intentions were known only centuries later. His explanation came late, and so did her reasoning.
I don't see how it's hard to understand their foil. She found his approach too logical, EX. he essentially told her to let the mortal child's (Meng Chi's) leg stay broken even though he was hurt trying to save HRY. Immortal or mortal, how could she stand by and do nothing? Her emotional affinity with the mortals is what saved/helped many lives as well (the young girl w/ medicine, the boy's leg, stability for the meng generation, and many more). Over time, she comes to see the logic behind his selflessness and he comes to resonate with her emotions stemmed from their mortal trial. Their worldviews once clashed, but they can finally see eye to eye. Nothing is perfectly fair, yet I find their story to be perfectly touching in showing how they end up pulling things even despite those "invisible hands" ruining their relationship🫶

I hope you understand that she wasn't saying it for him to hear as an actual lecture. At that moment, his chances of living were quite low, so her way of coping / praying for the better was to give a spiel. In short, it was like saying "our grievances make us entangled, and if you die, I'll simply let go". Their love isn't unequal because they choose to express it differently; he openly lied about his reasons for going to heaven, saying it was to abandon her in the mortal realm and free him of any crimes (pinning the guilt on her).
He thought her mortal life for the ten years after would be quite smooth, but he should've thought about how those words would build resentment. She also stayed silent about her pregnancy since she could "tell" that he had no interest in starting a family. Ultimately, they both chose to omit the truth for their respective reasons, yet in the most recent arc, we see them scheming together instead of against each other.
Obviously it doesn't end here, BJS needs to get over the "foolish stage" so they can properly converse/apologize/reconcile, however it's quite evident that BOTH of them search for the truth to help see each other in a better light.
I just cannot with fl's personality 😭. the fl said she didn't feel any guilt toward ml even after knowing ml…
I feel like we're watching different shows? or perhaps the subtitles didn't do they original dialogue justice? When HRY is talking to master Qing Yang, she clearly expresses her turmoil over what to "hold onto or let go". The mix of hatred and love she had for BJS was her motivation for living / driving force behind all her plans after she tragically lost her child. She can put down her sword and lose her will to kill him but still hold onto her pain. Forgiving is not forgetting, and learning the truth only made it more painful for her.
Wouldn't it be unrealistic if after learning about the thunder trial, she ran into his arms and decided to completely forget about her deceased child? None of them "put themselves first", after all HRY was only able to change BJS' attitudes towards mortals after showing him the illusion version of her suffering. Did you happen to miss the newest episodes btw? It was shown that HRY and BJS schemed together against Xiao Jingshan, so her "blaming" Long Yuan was meant to make XJS think he got away. She chose to investigate and seek the truth instead of actually killing Long Yuan, even though he clearly has a reputation for violence and wrath against the Jingyun Sect.
The whole mortal trial arc was to highlight how Ruyue learned to love mortals before Jiusi, and how their real trial was overcoming their worldviews. HRY/BJS final scheme against Jingshan is proof of how they could communicate and put an end to their misunderstandings. Yes, HRY used her powers against BJS' warnings, but is it wrong for an immortal to want to use their power for good? In the same sense, it is not wrong for BJS to want to be the silent shield for HRY, knowing that she can't put down her sympathy for mortal suffering.
Like Qing Yang said, hatred results from love. HRY wouldn't feel betrayed by BJS abandonment if she didn't truly treasure their life in the mortal realm. BJS wouldn't seek answers from the past if he didn't want to reconcile with HRY. It's justified to feel more sympathy for one side, but I find it odd that the show is so close to the finale, and the message happens to fly over some heads. HRY developed such a mortal-loving heart yet saw her own child and her loyal companion die without being able to save them with her powers; this is a pain that cannot be erased. Her misguided hate may dissipate, but problems take time to resolve.
The story would be too "2D" if there were no foils or juxtapositions between the characters, but as a result, it seems to have created some misplaced anger against the characters. As much as I feel hurt for BJS, I will never see HRY as the villain for loving humanity 🫶
Boring So all the bravado of her wanting to kill him was just him protecting and receiving punishment for her…
I agree! This is too boring; they should have him skewer her organs as revenge and call her a big dumb dumb ! After all, nothing can please a picky audience that can’t see the big picture 😛
Is it just me, or is anyone else getting frustrated with her? He endured so much because of her and her choices,…
pain doesn’t disappear just bc you realize the truth. you can tell that during her conversation with xuan wei, it’s clearly troubling her greatly. this mix of hatred and love has been the driving force behind all her plans of the past few centuries, emotions that can only dissipate slowly. him taking the lightning bolts doesn’t reduce the pain she felt in the mortal realm. she doesn’t wish to kill him and even said “it’s all my fault” during the final battle. her words at his bedside were meant to try to keep him fighting to live. also perhaps ad a spoiler tag 🫶
wait now I see why they said the heaven wedding's outfits were their favs, they're so intricate and HRY/BJS are matching perfectly ashkjfukajhiflwahoiwl my heart 😭
