Haha I didn't go that far I went back to the end of the previous episode and then went back to the beginning of 2 to make sure I hadnt missed anything and then I just shrugged. Yeah it was weird editing, I'm not sure if they accidentally cut the previous part or forgot they hadn't included it in episode 1

Usually 2 weeks before the first episode. So if the first day is Wednesdays, usually the trailer comes on Wednesday 2 weeks earlier.
