I absolutely agree with you. What I disliked most, is the fact that at least 3 characters had to die twice... That was an unnecessary roller-coaster of emotions. Also I didn't understand the role of the family Mo. I loved the Mo actors but the plot wouldn't change a tiny bit without them. Wish they had a stronger bond to the ending.
But one part made absolutely no sense... The "heroic" ancestors, who appeared in front of them on the island. They were wearing warriors armors, but when the Qi twin killed the god of the mountain and made gods and humans fight there weren't any warriors around, but simple people, who came there for a wish. Also the doll left the island with the baby so when did she meet the Mo ancestor and where did the Qi family take the magic brush from that was with their ancestor on the island?..... Why was it possible for an actual doll to become human but not for the ML when he was trapped in a doll? What was with the 1 minute appearance of the god in the emperor? So many things actually which made no sense....
Too much overacting, the plot, the dialogues it's just too much, nothing less than a soap drama Space missions…

10 stars for the amazing actors and their acting skills, 3 stars for the "story". The story consist of pieces of other dramas, put together randomly as it seems... Many details made absolutely no sense and were meaningless to the story... We didn't find out why ML's mother left the palace and why she was killed. The carp pendants were completely out of place. FL's teacher kept hiding because of the danger but pushed her student into it without any explanation, warning or reason. First it appeared that the carp is connected to FL's parents, but nope..... ALL ACTINGS, I GENERAL, MADE NO SENSE!

If you haven't watched the anime or read the manga, then you can't know if he's doing a good job... I'm not claiming the opposite because I haven't watched this adaptation yet.
